Blake's Lotaburger — Restaurant in El Paso

The food from lottaburger is amazing However the service is not. I just left from there with no food in hand. The cashier that took my order had issues understanding what was being ordered repeated my order several times and still could not get it correct mind you it is only two breakfast burritos that I ordered one of them with no cheese. Simple order I finally get the order squared away and I pull to the window. I hand him my debit card as is procedure for every drive-through. He tells me that my debit card is declined. I know it shouldn’t be because I have money in my account and I have never had issues with my debit card before so there’s no reason why it should’ve declined he attempted it several more times this time I paid attention and watched him while he was aggressively pushing buttons on the card reader. He then has me my debit card and tells me it’s still declined. I do you say to test the waters because I know my card is good and he asked me if I have another form of payment so I gave him my emergency credit card as I had already been waiting in line for some time I did not want to waste anymore time I just wanted my food. same thing happens she tries to run the card several times pushes a bunch of buttons aggressively hence the card back says it’s declined at this point I’m frustrated so I show him my bank account and my credit card account to prove that there’s money and there’s no reason why both cards should be declining she takes my debit card again and attempts to run it again and it still declines she stated hold on let me get my manager. I want to give this guy kudos because he did Try and that is not the reason for my one star rating. my one star rating is for when the manager showed up at the window without hesitation she grabs the card from him and throws it at me through the window and says our machine isn’t working we can only take cash I drive off without saying a word to her out of the sheer anger of having my debit card thrown at me luckily I did not hit me I did however have to pull over in another parking lot to retrieve my debit card from the...

Came yesterday evening, it was a particularly slow day. Ordered 3 burger meals and 1 hot dog meal which all came with fries (two of which were seasoned) . Drove all the way home and realized only 1 packet of seasoned fries.

I called to let the manager know and she started by asking me how much I paid. I let her know it was $32 and some change and half my order was missing. (Three fries)

She put me on hold and returned to let me know that she would leave a note in the manager I could come back and get a free order of fries when I buy my next burger and drink.

I let her know I wasnt trying to get free stuff out of them, I just wanted to let them know my order was missing stuff, I couldn't go back either way, I live over 12 miles away in Socorro and it didn't seem worth it.

She acted like she was doing me a favor by offering 1 "free" pack of fries but this is something I had already paid for with the meal.

Still the best place for a fast food green chile cheeseburger. Great fries, too.

Let me start off by saying I'm a big fan of Blake's. I lived in New Mexico for a long time and often enjoyed your food. It had been a long time (about 7 years) since I'd last had a Lotaburger and I was pretty excited to see that there was a Blake's in a city I was visiting.

Two things stood out--the burger seemed a little smaller than I remember (we can all afford to eat a smaller burger), and the layout/decor of the restaurant was significantly different from any other Blake's I'd been to.

I understand that it's unreasonable of me to expect a modern Blake's to have the same look and feel from those I remember from so long ago. It was just something that struck me.
