BURRITOS Tin Tan — Restaurant in El Paso

This is a very cozy outdoor patio walk-up restaurant in the north end parking lot of Smokey's Saloon on Viscount in east el paso. They have an existing parent location in Juaréz Mexico. Menu includes: Burritos Verde, rojo, chicharron, asado, frijoles, winnie, rajas, huevo con chorizo, huevo con tocino. Can't wait to try this place! Opening soon!

I walked in and noticed the place was empty and the radio was very loud. I waited patiently but since the radio was so loud, I had my doubts anyone heard me walk in. FINALLY, a lady steps out of the kitchen area and greets me. Their electronic menu on the wall changes rapidly before you can read it. I was not impressed with their burrito selections. I ordered their picadillo burrito. It was mostly potatoes with little meat and very salty. This was one very salty burrito. I ordered it to go because the radio was too loud. There was no salsa. I tried this place for the first time last week and got a burrito de chile rojo desherbada and It’s one of tastiest ones I’ve ever had, it was the perfect combination of not too spicy and not too mild. The only downside is that it was a bit pricey for the size, and it doesn’t have much meat, mainly potatoes, with just a few shreds of carne desherbada.
