Last night I was there with my 18 month old and family. My baby began choking on a piece of food, as you can imagine I was panicked and horrified my mother and I sprang up to help my baby and began giving back blows to dislodge the food. 1st time experience. I stopped here as a 2nd choice because the 1st went out of business. Stopped by on a Sunday noon time. Only 4 guests including myself. Good Customer Service. Ordered a torta combo. Milenesa & side of cheese fries. The cheese fries was good just needed salt. When fries freshly come out of fryer salt should be added right away for salt to stick on. Our tortas didn't have sliced avocado. It almost resembled the packaged avocado from the WHOLLY brand. I can't confirm if it's fresh or not, but it was really soft, almost too liquid.
Hard to explain, but the bread (bolillo) didn't have that panadería taste, more like bakery taste. If you know, you know.
Personal opinion, but Tortas should have a homemade taste or street stand taste, specially being next to Juarez. These didn't have that taste. Again
