fantastic! i was looking for a place to have like a 35 person party on a saturday evening and i couldn't find anything that was the right fit. i was walking past the healthy bite and even though it's not open on the weekends it looked just right and thought i'd ask. the owner was totally up for it and willing to do whatever it took to make the event a success and really treated us like family. it turned out great and everyone had a blast. the food was great. the place looked awesome. it was really affordable but had a sophisticated touch. people kept telling me afterwards how nice the whole thing was. i know it's normally a lunch place during week days, but honestly this place is perfect for small events after hours and on the weekend. it's close to downtown which has a great vibe now. it has a really nice feel to it but is affordable at the same time. the owner is super willing to work with you to customize what you want to do. you can also get the whole place to yourself it you want your event to be more private. i seriously recommend this place for any small party. healthy bite,...
Read moreThis place is quite the hidden gem in the Downtown El Paso area. I was on a business trip for 3 days and couldn’t find a proper place to have breakfast near my hotel; however, after a recommendation from one of the locals, I across this place and I ate here every morning. Their freshly made and healthy choices food kept me coming back. The prices I feel are extremely reasonable based on the portions you receive. While I’m sure you could go somewhere else and get larger amounts, don’t expect the same quality and love you can feel from this place. While I never met any of the other staff, the older woman I greeted every morning was friendly and really polite. I cannot recommend this place anymore if you’re looking for a healthier choice for breakfast and lunch. This place made every morning of my business trip something to always look forward...
Read moreI stopped by here after touring the downtown El Paso area. First of all the downtown area felt very safe and clean to me, certainly compared to many of the downtown areas I have been to. I wanted something healthy and Mediterranean, and googled this place. It's a cute place with plenty of seating both inside and outside. Counter serve, they have a number of complex salads and sandwiches. I tried their gyro, which had thin strips of gyro meat, lettuce and plenty of tzatziki sauce. The pita was grilled on the outside with ruffles, which added a unique texture that I can still taste and feel. Service was very nice. I would go back here again and maybe try their waldorf salad if I am in town. I am a top 10% restaurant reviewer for Google Maps. Follow me for more tasty bites in over 10 states...
