I was there on the weekend, I been a KFC customer for a long time, we notice it was under construction, however, Drive thru was open. I inquired about the specials and ask the lady ( Stephanie) for advise and indicated I needed 10 legs, 7 thighs and 2 breast and as sides cole slaw and mash potato. She ring me up and charge me $ 37.36, there was a promotion on 10 pieces meal for $15.00 that includes dark meat,biscuits and mash potato, so I was okay with the price. Unfortunately I did not check my bag and went home to my kids reunion. Big surprise it was only 16 pieces of chicken in one bucket all crumble up, one mash potato and one cole slaw. After I realized my order was incomplete, I had to to come back ( 15 minutes drive) Then I asked the same lady if I forgot a bag maybe with some chicken and my biscuits and she responded "No" Everything was in there in a rude matter. I said how can you fit 19 pieces of chicken in one bucket, specially with extra crispy breast. She call her manager (Marisol) awful customer service, I tried to explain and cars were lining up behind me. She did not care and charge me again for 2 chicken breast and my total came out to $43.83 after all, and ate cold chicken. Read moreWe were served very sub-par food at this restaurant tonight. I've attached a picture of the "extra crispy" fried chicken we were served. It was not even regular crispy.. reminded me of soggy, breaded baked chicken.
The 5 piece Nashville chicken we ordered was also mostly tiny (only one piece would I consider an actual strip, the others were more "nugget" sized), and also severely overcooked, stringy and tough.
This food would have been driven back to the store for a full refund, however there was a very clear sign on the drive-thru that stated there are no refunds, only store credit. It's very clear why they have this policy, and it apparently worked for me. I imagine they get a great number of refund requests if others are served food equal to the quality I was served tonight. I would have called the store and complained.. but I'm sure I would have been greeted with an offer for more food of which I will never go back to, or store credit, which would be worthless.
This was not worth the $30+ we paid for the $20 fillup bucket and 5 piece Nashville hot chicken meal. The $5 bucket at Albertsons would have been much better, and perhaps where I will be heading going forward for...
Read moreI placed a mobile order and I went to pick it up through the drive-thru. Worst experience ever. When I arrived the male at the intercom told me they did not have chicken breast, or the sides I requested just legs. I said I would come inside for a refund and he said yeah sure. I park and got off my car, to find out the restaurant has the doors locked to the public. So once again, I had to get in line at the drive thru. Then I pull up and the male employee said the restaurant can’t do anything about it and I can’t get a refund. Obviously I became upset and then he gives me a 1-800 number to call if I need something. I asked him to call his manager to the window and the manager has no people skills. Awful customer service. I was very upset and told the manager I needed an order# and she had an attitude about the whole situation. She never even offered an apology on behalf of the business for the inconvenience.
