Krispy Kreme — Restaurant in El Paso

Unfortunately my visit was in stark contrast to the memory of better days at Krispy Kreme. To claim the staff was unenthusiastic would be charitable, to claim the product selection was abundant would be a lie. To claim the product was fresh or delicious would be an outrageous fabrication of reality. Once upon a time, Krispy Kreme thrived as the pinnacle of the donut world, it wasn't about the donut, it was about the entire experience. Sadly those days are now gone, discarded through indifference and embracing mediocrity as a work ethic. My visit was simply unacceptable. Rude, unfriendly and unenthusiastic staff, overpriced, stale with limited selection of donuts, old horrible tasting sledge for coffee. The trifecta of FAILURE in my world. I'm not alone in voting with my feet where I spend my money and I didn't experience anything here that would motivate me to want to subject myself to a return visit. They act as if they are deliberately trying to go bust! I wonder if disappointing and alienating customers was included in the business plan? Hot and ready sign street sign according to the employee does not work or they do not have control over it. I went through the drive thru as the sign hot and ready was on but when I opened the box to grab one it was cold and hard. I went into the store and asked the employee about it and said I came because the sign was on, she responded that don’t control it and it’s only the window signs which I’ve never heard of for any other locations. The worst part was there was no trying to make it right, the attitude was “too bad so sad”, I left the donuts and asked for a receipt. If the street light doesn’t work this is false advertisement, there should be a note or sign at the drive through window making you aware the street sign does not work or at least the employee could relay this information to you. DO NOT COME HERE . Horrible service I had a birthday reward and the old woman working kept saying I don’t have enough points she doesn’t know anything else to say . I showed her my app information MULTIPLE times and still nothing . In Spanish she was talking bad about me thinking I don’t understand. Her manager came a few min later and did not even greet us or anything the same woman Rudely handed us the box without apologizing or even saying anything . It’s clear she was only hired because she has some connection to the manager . The manager called and was defending the employee who was clearly in the wrong . Very unprofessional even though this is the only location in west El Paso either drive to the other ones for better service or even go to Dunkin anything is better than this location .
