Would give this Texas Roadhouse 0 starts on everything if i could, very disappointed. I LOVE texas roadhouse however this was my first time in this west location in el paso, and i have to say its my last. HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT. Went with my boyfriend and i order my ribeye stake med rare ( he ordered a burger medium), waited 40 minutes and y steak was well done, and his burger as well. He wasn’t bothered because its a beef patty, however i will not eat a well done steak. Sent it back and was waiting for the recook , as my boyfriend slowly ate his food bc it was getting cold… 40 more minutes pass. We needed refills and i was trying to wave someone down since at this point my boyfriend was done with his food and i was still waiting for my medium rare steak. As i finally wave our very unattentive server i explain to him my concerns. its been almost 2 hours my boyfriend is done eating? where is my steak? he says let me get u my manager. A girl manager shows up with my new steak, i cut into it, immediately well done again. RIDICULOUS. at that point my boyfriend and i had to leave since we had plans and i was already so frustrated i told the manager i was upset and will not eat the NEW overcooked steak since its not what i asked for. she immediately tells me “i will take it off the tab for u “ and walks away. NO SORRY? NO GUEST RECOVERY AT ALL, SHE DID NOT CARE THAT MY DINNER WAS RUINED BC OF THEM. she ran off and im like ??? thats all? they gave me the check and charged us for just my boyfriend food since i didnt eat, however management did such a horrible job, zero consideration for loyal customers. She couldve dropped a % of my check since my boyfriend ate alone and our time was wasted. She couldve offered me another steak free of cost to go? but no she did not care. I wish i wouldve read her name tag, but at the momment i was just so upset. I love texas roadhouse but i will forever now avoid this location and tell people not to go to this one here in el paso. HORRIBLE GUEST RECOVERY. 2 hours sitting there just for them to give me overcooked steak 2 times and not even apologize. I never leave reviews let alone bad ones but i had to since this ruined my whole night. Fix ur management, or train ur managers better because it will cost u...

Unfortunately Texas Roadhouse has fallen victim to the post Covid problems that many large chain restaurants have been dealing with. The bigwigs at corporate office made cuts on products and personnel and the only ones suffering are the customers. Tiny portions, cheap sides, and service that no one would write home about. Our server was new, he obviously didn’t get the training that he should’ve received cause he didn’t know the menu. He also forgot to order our appetizer. He didn’t admit it, but as a back-of-the-house vet, I know when your side salads arrive before your appetizer, you should remind the server about the app. They’ll say, “Let me check on it,” then they’ll come back a few minutes later with the appetizer, and literally 2 minutes later the entrees arrive. Not really an issue, but that means the main course was sitting on the slide getting cold while the appetizer is prepared. All that aside, the food was lackluster. I ordered the cheese burger, it was about the size of a McDouble. The size of a McDouble isn’t bad, for $2, but this thing was $10.49. For that price I expect at least a Big Mac sized burger. My daughter got the chicken tender kids meal, the server rang her up for a dinner even though she specifically asked for the kids meal. What a newb. The tenders were overcooked, like chicken fried pieces of leather. Speaking of chicken fried, my wife ordered the chicken fried steak. The server didn’t ask what kind of gravy, so my wife asked if it comes with gravy, and he said “I can have them add some.” We had to point out that the menu says it comes with either cream or brown gravy. Whoops. Not a big deal, he’s new. Again, the biggest issue I had with Texas Roadhouse, is that they’ve cheaped out all the food. Before Covid you could go there, and always leave with leftovers, now it seems shrinkflation is the name of the game, so you pay premium prices for half portions of low quality foods. Our bill came out to $76, and we had leftovers, leftover petrified chicken tenders. I want to call my state rep and suggest they call them up and demand they improve what’s going on at the Roadhouse, cause they’re really giving...

Went in on mothers day with my husband sat at the bar it was a long wait for a table giving it was mothers day. I ordered a 6oz Sirloin steak with shrimp, And a baked potato and a salad. I requested extra butter, an extra sour cream for my baked potato and my steak to medium well.. took a long time. My dinner arrived and my steak was charred like a card board and no butter and no extra sour cream. I asked the server if I may cut the steak cause I can see it's burned and she agreed put onto another plate to have another one made. I figured I can eat the shrimp and baked potato with my husband so he's not eating alone after all we did come out to have dinner together and not separately on mothers day most of all. The shrimp was cold and chewy over cooked and I'm still waiting for the butter and sour cream. I got furious cause this entire dinner is one big mess and should of never left the kitchen and server took the order and knew what I ordered and it wasn't what was served to me. I told I didn't want any of this food all us bad and still waiting for topping for my potato while it's getting cold and now my husband is eating dinner alone. I called the manger back the second time cause the first time she said she was gonna do me favor a remove my dinner from our bill and I said that's no favor my meal and service was a disaster and didn't consume the food you have to remove it. At this point our mothers day was ruined all she can say was sorry! Second time I called her over and told her we're leaving my husband isn't gonna eat dinner alone we're going else where to enjoy a good mothers day dinner and good service. The manger removed my husband's dinner and we paid for our drinks. The manger gave us a gift card for $30 for what happened and it only took two times to call her over to handle the issue other than just saying sorry and doing me favor for not charging me for my dinner I didn't consume smh! Not returning to that location and we told the...

Arrived and found the parking area free of litter, well maintained and free of issues. Entered and immediately received a warm and inviting Texas welcome from the hotties at the hostess desk. We were immediately seated and served those heavenly rolls, the wait staff instantly arrived to take our drink orders. Our correct as ordered refreshing beverages arrived at record setting wrap speed. Despite being constantly interrupted while ordering only to be up sold, our order was taken with great efficiency. Our salads arrived first. I totally get that TR is a steak place but I've always been historically impressed by their salads. It's absolutely nothing special. But it's made into a culinary masterpiece with the attention to detail. It arrives in a bowl just out from the freezer. This lone act exemplifies the desire to delivery a wonderful salad. I had mine with extra blue cheese dressing and despite being a dinner salad found it exceptional in flavor and freshness. I ordered the big sirloin medium rare. It arrived as ordered cooked to absolute perfection. I found the cut free of any issues. My baked potato was warm but not hot. It was incapable of even melting the better. I was immediately given a replacement potato that was hot enough to burn through the table if not on the plate. My dining companion sent her med-well steak back. Unfortunately it returned overcooked. Food inconsistency seems to be the standard here. We had no issues with the front of the house but sadly the failures of the kitchen staff really pulled down the entire experience. We felt it wasn't the best effort from Texas Roadhouse and frankly we had higher expectations that clearly were never met. Service was great, the rolls were great, the salads were great and while my steak was great, the wife's steak was EXTREMELY disappointing. A little pride from the kitchen staff would go far. We'll probably return again, but we won't have a false sense of elation that this is the best of the best.

Bad experience in general. They had two events going on that day. Couldn't walk in the door without getting bombarded by people asking if you wanted to donate. Then their was a large group of police/sheriff's in their Couldn't tell if they were waiting to be seated or leaving. No one greeting at the door to welcome you in or ask how many in the group. Once they sat me down waiter had a big ego puff chest loud voice asking what we wanted to drink. Ordered an herb crusted chicken with mashed potatoes, waiter didn't even bother to ask what kind of gravy I wanted. Once food was ordered they decided too turn up the music loud for two songs. Couldn't even here myself think. I had to stop talking because of how loud it was. Waiter came out with food dropped off didn't ask if we needed anything else. I didn't know crusted was burnt. When waiter came back too check up on the table I told him this was burnt grunted, rudely asked what I wanted and walked away mad. One of the assistant managers came out with my new order didn't even bother too ask if everything was OK anything else I needed. I just asked for a to go box so I could leave their quickly. Don't know if I would want to go back really disappointed in general.

I’m never disappointed when I eat here. I absolutely love the rolls and butter they bring out for you at the start. They also have a bag of peanuts for you to enjoy while you wait for your food. Their house salads are cold and fresh, the beer is ice cold and the margaritas are perfection. They also serve wine. I’ve tried a variety of their steaks and they have all been delicious. If you are not happy with it or they didn’t cook it to your liking they will take it back and get you another one. As far as appetizers go, I am a fan of their sampler, you pick 3 items from their appetizer section. It’s perfect if you can’t make up your mind which appetizer you would like to have. The atmosphere is fun, it usually has a lot of people, and they do have televisions around the bar area. The service has always been great, very friendly waiters and waitresses and you can also spot the manager walking around and introducing himself, making sure the customers are happy. I prefer this place over Saltgrass.
