I went in with a friend an hour before closing after using the bikes downtown to grab some food and water. Everything was fine until our large pizza arrived at the table, nothing was said to us regarding the temperature of the pizza. So I served my friend and then myself, as I was putting the slice of pizza on my plate the BOILING HOT cheese and sauce slid onto my lap and caused two large burns that required me to go to urgent care. It was so hot it burned layers of my skin off. I didn’t argue with the people at the restaurant there as I payed and left. However I called management today and ARTURO, the manager at the establishment, was an entire new level of rude and sarcastic. He hung up on me and finally after I spoke to him the second time, he made a fake insincere apology and proceeded to tell me it was “oBvIOuS” that the pizza would be hot and asked rudely what I wanted him to even do about it and why I didn’t bring it up to him before I left that day. Well Arturo, I didn’t realize the extent of the harm that was done until I took off my jeans at HOME.

Nonetheless, this was theeee worst customer service I have ever received. Arturo was rude, sarcastic, and had no solutions to this incident besides offering a free pizza (this was after me telling him that he had to do something to remedy this, not because he had any true intention of helping in any way.)

I warn everyone to beware of this place, horrible management, and the pizza itself can leave you with literal burn scars. He offered me that free pizza and that was it, nothing else but insincere sarcastic apologies like it wasn’t his problem. I will never set foot here again. I hope everyone who reads this and knows what can happen to you, your children, friends, or family, for their lack of warning you about the extent of heat your pizza is delivered to at your table. I pray this doesn’t happen to anyone at all. I’ve been in pain and limping since this happened and there’s nothing I can do about it...

The service was good. I just honestly didn't care for the food. I've been searching for a good place that serves pizza. I'm truly home sick and love my pizza. Everywhere so far here in el paso has disappointed me. This place I was hoping for goof pizza from the reviews. Unfortunately I was more disappointed then ever. The crust and toppings are on point. The sauce was heavy and I couldn't get over the taste. I've never tasted pizza sauce like that before.

Mind you I'm from New York so I know my pizzas . 2nd I have to say the calzone isn't even a true calzone. It was drenched in that disgusting sauce. FYI the sauce Is meant to be on the side to dip not inside. I'm sorry for being a Karen but I think I'm just done with pizza here in el paso

Maybe I'm being to hard. I mean this is el paso and you guys don't specialize in pizza. I mean you have great reviews Just wish others can taste what I'm...

The last time I visited Luigis was over five years ago. The lunch buffet was a hit for college students on a budget. Today I visited a little after 12:30 pm and the place was unusually quiet for a Wednesday afternoon in my opinion. I ordered a Classic style pizza on thin crust with cheese as the only topping. This allows me to better taste all of the ingredients. After I sat down and received my beverage, exactly 11 minutes later I received my pie just as ordered. The pizza was well made and cooked well done. After a minute resting on the table I grabbed a slice. Absolutely no flop, great undercarriage and the crust was super crunchy. The cheese was fresh and the pizza sauce had a nice tangy spice to it. The dough was great tasting as well. Perfect place for dining alone or small groups. I highly recommend Luigis if you are in downtown El Paso. I score my pizza 7.2 on a...

Had to pick up pizza from here as they only deliver downtown (house is 8 minutes from store but no delivery.) The crust is very familiar like I have had it before. Not convinced that they make it in house. You can also tell it isn't proofed that day either. The bread it self is not greasy. It is charred but not burnt. They do have very limited toppings but they are quality ingredients or at least they are fresh toppings. It is a good change from pizza hut and such. Does greatly remind me of huntz brothers pizza. The pizza is very good. A bit expensive: $26 for two medium 2 topping pizzas. I would get pizza from here again but I would probably try a different place first. Would like to go somewhere that makes their own pizza dough. Definitely worth a stop if you are down town though

I was visiting my family in El Paso and my brother brought me to this restaurant he loves. I'm sometimes skeptical of my brother's restaurant choices, but I have to admit that this place was delicious! Especially the calzone. It was packed with pepperoni and everything tasted really fresh. I loved how they made the ravioli. The filling tasted fresh and full of flavor. Most importantly, the ravioli was perfectly al dente. I hate soggy or soft pasta, but this was done to perfection. The owner was very nice and he was actually the one serving us. I ask alot of questions when I visit a new restaurant. He said he runs the place with his brother and that the restaurant has been operating about 10 years. I wish them continued success.
