Mami's Bakery — Restaurant in El Paso

This bakery is a joke to be ! we ordered three burritos and when we opened them the tortillas literally cracked down the middle and everything fell out. The worst part is we called and the person that helped us at the counter, said to bring them back in and she would refund our money when we went she had a policy on the wall saying if you ate some of it, you would only get certain amount back so out of a $13 bill we got $2.89 back. My sons Barbacoa burrito was ice cold. I think they forgot to heat up the meat before they put it in. This is a definite no I gave one star because I have to give one star it would’ve been -5. The curb appeal was bad. I should’ve known better when you walked in. I also asked for a coffee and there was a spoon on the counter that maybe somebody had used ours before and everybody was using to mix their creamer in. Does Covid...

Mami's bakery has the BEST bread anywhere. The pan blanco is always crunchy on the outside but the inside is soft and fluffy and oh so tasty. I love the sweet bread too. I have never eaten a concha so soft in my life, they melt in your mouth as you bite into them. The burritos are delicious i have had them all. The barbacoa is greasy, but what do you expect, they are made from pig meat! The menudo is good too, i always buy it and take it home and add extra sprinkles of red pepper flakes because i like it hot! They are a small business, a real mom and pop bakery and i highly recommend them to everyone. They are worth the drive. Go in early because they do run out, but...

The burritos are really skinny. The tortilla is really good but the filling was not the best. I had a picadillo burrito which was more potato than meat and the potatoes were very hard it was also very bland.
