The Kebab Shop — Restaurant in El Segundo

I love all of the Kebab shops in San Diego. I make it a point to try every location possible. The layout is almost always the same. Sauces and drinks in the back, a big window to watch them make it, and the cashier up front.

Every place I have visited so far is very clean. From the soda area to the sauce area its always kept clean. I don't expect every table to be spotless because it's a turn and burn style of food, but even the tables and floors always look clean. From San Diego to El Segundo.

I absolutely love this place. The cooks in the back made me a nice large salad wrap. I love the spicy hummus added in my salad wrap, and lots of onions. These things can be as big as my 4 arm if I add extra protein (which I highly recommend)

I always watch the cooks make the wraps, and I do have 1 question or even so a complaint for this location. .. I haven't seen this done in San Diego locations, but nothing was cut off of the Doners. The walked behind the scenes and threw in the meats, then came to the dressing area and built the wraps. This was strange to me because every other place I visited always cut from the Doner. This also resulted in cold meat, not hot. I love this place because it's cut fresh, so that really threw me off.

We have been here several times since they've opened. The food is fresh and well prepared. The staff is friendly enough and the atmosphere is relatively quiet. Do we expect to return? Of course, we do.

A few weeks ago, we visited and ordered the Crave Fries. They were fantastic. The fries were thick and perfectly cooked. Crispy. We couldn't wait to return and order them again.

We did. This time the fries were skinny and sad. Still Crave-y, but lacked that original texture and flavor experience with the thick fries. When we asked about the fries, we were told that they had run out and that those thick fries, liked by the staff and other customers, were a one-off.

The lamb is near perfection. The meatballs could be a little less dry. I know, these are not Italian meatballs, but the ones I ordered were dry.

We look forward to our return. Maybe they will have run out of the usual skinny fries and have those amazing fries instead! We really...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (10/10) I came in asking about their OG Garlic Sauce (the one they use with their amazing falafels) — I didn’t place an order, but I was ready to pay just to get my hands on that flavor again! To my surprise, a lovely young lady named Destiny at the counter went above and beyond.

Not only was she kind and helpful, but she also gave me the sauce free of charge — even taking the time to prepare a fresh container for me, despite it not being readily available. That type of service is rare and refreshing.

If the owner of this location is reading this: Destiny is an absolute gem. Her professionalism, generosity, and hospitality were unmatched. She truly represents your brand with excellence.
