The place was so beautiful. The decor, the tables, our cups, the atmosphere 10/10. Seriously it was a breath of fresh air walking in and seeing the interior. The food was phenomenal! We ordered the cauliflower appetizer and I'm hooked, fresh ingredients and hand crafted food and pastries is OBVIOUS. You really can tell that their food was fresh with everything we ate. The cauliflower tasted amazing. The cabbage was fresh, had a good firmness, flavor was wonderful and well priced. And the curry chicken patty was incredible (the temperature of the sun. But great nonetheless). HOWEVER!!!! I'm pretty sure we were viewed in an unfortunate way today. Our server kept mentioning how the food was spicy even after we stated multiple times that we like spicy food. Told us "we dialed it down so you guys can enjoy the flavor of jamaican food". And the last time he asked us how the food was because it was spicy and told him we liked spicy food he acted surprised. We went to a Jamaican restaurant expecting Jamaican food we are well aware that it could be spicy. We looked forward to that and did not appreciate our server talking to us that way.

I don't know what Ricky is talking about, because ain't nobody questioning us on being able to handle spicy... look... if you're actually wanting some seasoning in your life beyond the country fried everything - you need to stop in here... Mac n cheese so good it'll have you calling up your ma and questioning your own raising. Jerk chicken so delicious and fresh you'll be looking for the chicken house somewhere in downtown e city... ox tail so meaty you'll be thinking you done got the whole cow. And collards so green I could've sworn they just picked em and cooked them right before we arrived... look. If you're somebody who can't handle the heat, just say that. But if you want a great place with great food and great attitudes.. come on in.

Ordering and pickup was easy. I got the oxtails with macaroni and cheese and yams. The food was warm and it did taste good. One issue tho, the macaroni and cheese was so hard on the top layer, I damn near broke a tooth trying to eat it. ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚I would suggest they stir it occasionally. For customers if you want to keep your teeth order another side. But overall the meal was good. The oxtails were seasoned and tender and the gravy went well with it. Pricing was what you would expect for oxtails. But I may just try a pasta next time!
