When I first came here, I didn’t know what to expect. I think the guy at the register was Dominican I asked him to put me on the top seller. He didn’t really do that. He just pointed me to the menu. I didn’t know what to expect my first time, but I tried pancakes with eggs toast because I wasn’t sure if the sausage was pork. Quaint spot on the corner with just a few tables for some authentic Colombian dishes. Stopped in while awaiting an inbound flight at EWR (Newark Airport), which was just 8 minutes away. Wanted a Cuban Sandwich but the pernil wasn't ready yet. So, I opted for the arepa with chicharron, guacamole and salchipappas. Also had some tostones/patacones on the side. I stumbled upon an absolutely amazing little restaurant!!!! The food at P5 is the best I’ve had in the U.S.!!! (I tried the same dish once before in DC, but it was nowhere near as good as here) Every single dish was impressive!
