Lutong Pinoy — Restaurant in Ellensburg

I stopped here on my way to the west side. I had been looking for somewhere new to eat and this place came up on my map. My mother is Filipino but lives in a different state so I don't get the opportunities to have authentic Filipino food often. This place was hands-down amazing! While I waited I was given warm soup to try and it was so delicious. The ladies working were kind and very attentive to each customer. The building is sort of a small shack and there is seating around it. I sat at a picnic table and the smells of the BBQ chicken and pork wafted off the grill. If I hadn't already ordered so much food I would have gotten some BBQ. Next time for sure. This will absolutely be a place I stop again on my trips from home to Seattle. ♡

Seriously some of the best and unique food in Ellensburg. Everything here is absolutely delicious. It smells amazing a city block away, and everything tastes amazing. One of my favorites is the pork adobo, pictured with the two crunchy and hot lumpia, also known as Philipino spring rolls. Some other great dishes are the pork belly (darker meat pictured), as well as the bbq chicken/pork skewers. The beef steak is also really good, but isn't pictured in my review. Overall, over time I've tried every dish here. They are all really unique, flavorful, and they give you plenty of food. And the best part, the people that run this place are incredibly friendly. They know me by name and always greet me with a smile. I will return on a regular basis...

Lutong bahay (home-cooked meal)! I ordered through Doordash, it took a while for my food to arrive but it was worth the wait. We had Pork BBQ combo with pancit bihon (rice noodle mixed with chow mien noodles), chicken adobo & chicken curry with rice. Huge portions! I travel a lot for work and have been disappointed lately with other filipino restaurants, either the portions are small or they mess up a simple pancit bihon dish. I love the simplicity of the dishes here but they do not lack flavor. I recommend this place. I would definitely order again next time I'm in town. Salamat po, I enjoyed...
