I'm thrilled that Royal Junction is in Eburg! The food is fabulous. I found out they have a secret menu with veggie samosas! Ask for it.
There are challenges with this new restaurant that I hope they can work out sooner rather than later. For instance, their ice maker broke down, so they couldn't sell soda. The server didn't know how to use a wine key, so I showed her by opening the bottle of wine we were going to drink. They had many delays on their liquor license and are still not serving drinks. Last week, 4 of us were in for dinner. We were there about 2 hours. We ordered one bottle of wine and I gave more to the others than myself. We had appetizers and 4 entrees. Then, when we ordered another bottle of wine, my daughter jokingly said "Cut them off". So the server did! We weren't drunk, but the server asked us if we were driving. She then gave us 3 glasses of wine. :-/ It was embarrassing. I think they could learn a thing or two about serving beer/wine.

Read moreWaited 45 mins for samosas while we sipped lukewarm tap water, then they were brought to the table behind us by accident. When the 2 servers figured it out I heard them whispering about it, without updating us or saying anything to us at all. We waited another half hour while the servers were both in the back and then we just left. It’s pretty insane for an appetizer to take that long, can’t imagine how long the food was gonna take. Maybe hire some people that have worked in a restaurant before, cause it’s incredibly rude to not communicate with your customers at all. Also, I hope the couple that ate my appetizers reads this - if you didn’t order something, don’t eat it and then ask if it was vegetarian, you matching fanny pack wearing entitled lil dorks. Oh and when we were walking by later one of the servers was buying bags of groceries off the back of a...
