I can never pass up a cup of chai, so I ordered Irani chai and three vada. They were having some issues with their internet, so electronic payment was very slow, which meant that service was very slow. However, this was NOT their fault and the hostess was EXTREMELY apologetic. In fact, she even gave me free food to make up for it! The chai was amazing - so rich and soothing. And the vada were perfection - nice and crispy on the outside but soft and fluffy inside, and full of flavor. And the peanut chutney - oh my gosh! I finished my vada before I ran out of chutney, so I just ate it with a spoon - the best I've had outside of India. I will be going back again and again and again and...well, I better wrap this up so I can head over there again! See you there!
I did ding them one star on atmosphere as it is a little loud when it gets crowded. There is nothing to soak up the sound. But it is clean and a very pleasant place to eat in or wait for...
Read moreLocated just beside the Indian grocery store & with convenient parking.
Dine In - They have a huge menu to chose from, so would recommend to be prepared in advance what you are in mood of eating. All their curries, biryanis, pulao and other snacks are DELICIOUS. Also their special dessert (peach delight) is a must try. We are a fan of their indo-Chinese dishes. They also do adjust the spice level well. They do have display monitors displaying your name & approx wait time which is convenient. Only downside at this moment we felt is they are slow and average wait times will be ~30mints.
Take out orders - they do have an app you can order from. As well they have a kiosk in the store itself.
They run daily offers on kebabs, pulaos, biryanis (typically 2 items for $20).
Overall, good pricing & quantity. They are still very new, so hopefully the service speed...
Read moreWe first visited in early August for my daughter’s birthday. While clearing her plate, she didn’t realize the bin had no trash can and accidentally dropped a spoon. The thin woman with glasses at the front desk overreacted, saying, “Thank God nothing worse happened—it’s just a spoon,” which felt unnecessarily rude on her special day. When we returned today, the snacks, idly were good, but the dosa was disappointing. Sharing feedback got the same dismissive response, and the service felt rushed. For a newly opened place, this repeated attitude is very discouraging. As a new establishment, I believe a little more attentiveness and patience toward customers could make a big difference. I hope this feedback is taken positively, as I would like to see the place thrive and consider returning...
