The only downside is that the place is quite dark so it's not ideal for a mid day drink if you're hoping to keep enjoying the sun. they also don't have food but you can bring anything in. Recognizing almost everyone he was quick to say hi, wave a hand and stop by the table to chat. He definitely made a mark on our visit! At his recommendation we ordered the expresso martini and smoky old fashioned. Both were delicious and followed by more. Read moreVisited on 3/14; had an excellent time! They are still in their soft open so hours are a little variable, but usually after 5 they’ll be around. Located a little ways back in the mall, right across from Rucker Johns. Vibe is different than the rest of the surrounding bars in the best way possible, dark wood and modern. Brandon makes an extremely good espresso martini, highly recommended. Nothing but good things to say about Bar 1957, can’t wait for their official opening....
