My boys and I were very happy with our experience at "Pacific Superstore"!!! We had stopped by breeza beachwear moments before, and the clerk made a beeline for the door and literally locked it in front of us at 10mins until closing. We couldn't believe how rude it was! So, we drove to "Pacific Superstore" a couple of minutes away and Kamal let us come in and shop. He was very kind, courteous, and helpful! He knew we were leaving the island, so he wanted to help us find exactly what we wanted. We purchased a sweatshirt and 3 T-shirts from him, and I'm sure the owners of this awesome store were happy to have the sale that would have gone to their competitors (if they hadn't closed up shop early!). FYI, the prices were very good, and we took advantage of their "buy 2 for $20" T-shirt sale at Pacific. The zip-up hoodie sweatshirt we bought is cozy and well-made, and the logo/design is very attractive. We loved that they offered a large variety of T-shirts, it was super easy to find one that suited each of my boys. We will definitely come here when we visit Emerald Isle again! The gentlemen was super nice, but when purchasing we were informed there would be a 3 dollar up charge for each because we weren’t also buying a cage. (We live 30 minutes from the store and had a large aquarium tank set up at home, and didn’t need the cage). I understand the need to profit, however not advertising this is bad faith marketing, and taints a businesses reputation. We were told we had two small, and one medium crab. Then were charged as if we’d bought two double xl plain, and one large painted. Again, I appreciate the employee working with me, and explaining this price difference was the store owners choice and part of what they were told to do. But turning what we were told was normally an $18 dollar purchase, pretax, into a $31 dollar purchase, without any publicly posted notice of this up charge is bad faith marketing. Happy with the hermit crabs I got, but will not be returning here if I never need to purchase more...
   Read moreI normally come here every year, but my experience this time was not pleasant. They have a sign that requires you to have a mask, but there were a lot of people they allowed in, including one of their employees without a mask. When I went to go pay, I realized I didn't move money on to my credit card when he out loud in front of other customers, said "your card was declined". Then when I gave him my debit card, he says out loud "that one worked". As a cashier myself, I would never try to embarrass a customer like that. Also, while I was there the same guy was yelling across the room to find a female worker, whose name he didn't even remember. I felt bad for the girl, because he seemed pretty rude to her. I will not recommend this store, nor go back...
