I read the reviews before I went this am. Pleasant young lady at register took my order. I bought the last two bagels and a latte and a chai latte. I let her know I wanted them toasted dark with cream cheese. She politely pointed to the toasters on the counter for diy. I said ok. She asked me did I want cream cheese. I said yes. She told me my total and I had to check if she accidentally doubled my bagel order but after I paid the bill with my tip I read the receipt and saw I paid 4.25 for bagel and 1.75 extra for cream cheese times two. So $30 for two bagels and two lattes. They bagged up my diy bagel kit. I went to toaster counter toasted my bagels and went back to my room to eat them. I spread the cold cream cheese on the bagels and the cream cheese I paid 1.75 for disappeared. It was butter. Not cream cheese. So I ruined the bagels. And paid for something I didn’t even get. Very disappointed. We went to a breakfast place down the road and got two lattes, two bagel sandwiches with meat and cheese in them and a pancake for 32 dollars. Go to village market. Get way more for your money. The lattes were pretty good here though. But...
Read moreI visited Stir It Up Coffee Shop plenty of times but today was the first I went with my dog. I had such a fantastic experience! Huge shoutout to Ella and Tucker—both were super friendly, quick to serve, and greeted us with the biggest smiles. They even offered my Great Dane, Eames, his very own pup cup, which he absolutely loved!
I’ll admit, I’m not a coffee drinker, but their smoothie was delicious! And you can never go wrong with tea either. (Don’t forget a bagel) The shop is also dog-friendly inside, which is perfect for the off-season.
For those concerned about cleanliness (especially with pets inside), let me assure you they were on top of it. I noticed how attentive they were, cleaning behind the counter constantly and even tidying up right after Eames enjoyed his treat.
It’s rare to find such a welcoming, pet-friendly spot with great service and tasty drinks. Highly recommend stopping by, whether you’re a coffee lover, tea drinker, or smoothie...
Read moreWhen my husband and i moved to the region stopping my Stir it Up was our favorite island stops for amazing coffee, nice servers, and tasty treats. However after it was sold and new owners took over things got progressively worse. The servers and owners are rude and snoody (as evident by observing and watching how they spoke to their employees) and the coffee drinks went up in price (as high as starbucks) but tasted terrible. We attempted several times to give them a chance to break things in but we can't afford $10+ on small iced coffes that stunk. Also their hours are ridiculous! During non-tourist months I totally understand closing early because their isn't business, but during April and summer months plus spring break time being closed at 4pm and weekends till 5pm is absurd?? Emerald is an amazing place but seriously there are no coffee shops open past 5pm! Very discouraging...I am giving 2 stars and it...
