Food Lion — Local services in Emerald Isle

I was shopping at the store around 4 or 5 this afternoon, and my son was with me. He had to use the bathroom so we went behind the black double doors in the stock room area. I was waiting for my son when I noticed a man with black hair and blue shirt around his 50's screaming at an employee about why he was on his cell phone and the employee told him that he was checking the time. the man then called the employee a liar and said that the employee was texting on his phone. He then told the employee to put the phone in the office and proceeded to try and take the phone from the employee. This kind of behavior should not be tolerated nor should it have happened in front of a customer. I will never shop at this store again, because if this happens with employees who's to say it won't happen...

This grocery store is fantastic! It offers excellent produce and has a tremendous staff. It is situated in a lovely shopping plaza, and it's the other major grocery store in Emerald Isle. We always make it a point to stop by whenever we are in the area. There is plenty of convenient parking and easy access. The store is always clean and well-staffed, and the employees are friendly and helpful. Even on busy weekends, the store is well-organized and usually has multiple check-out lanes open. They have great meats and an excellent deli. Additionally, they have several self-checkout lanes that help speed up the process and allow it to operate smoothly without any issues. Went to the restaurant on Sunday night food took a long time and came out cold. Prime rib was a huge disappointment. Over cooked. But atleast they let us bring in our own water instead of drinking the horrible toilet water they serve. Went back tonight. Food was better, but were not allowed to bring In our water so they could charge us the same price as a regular beverage for le Blue bottled water. We asked the waitress how much for the water she said she didn't know.. so we paid ,$9 plus tax for 3...
