What a cool and unique experience! The food is out of this world. Will came to my nannie’s house (who hosted) and prepared a feast for me & my husband’s now united families. We were wrapping up our wedding weekend and wanted our northern guests to experience what a classic coastal seafood boil was like! Outer Banks Boil Company Emerald Isle far exceeded those expectations.

Will was so professional, funny, knowledgeable, and prepared when he arrived early to Grandma’s backyard. There were tables laid out, and he put the disposable table cloth down and got right to cooking! The family mingled and had beverages, climbed trees, walked to the waterfront, and when the food was ready, everything was poured out of the large pots all once! We had crab legs, clams, shrimp, potatoes, spicy andouille sausage, and corn! Melted butter went into serving cups and a seasoning dust sprinkled over all of the goodness. I took my time with the crab legs for two hours, savoring every bite, dipping them into the melted butter. I was in heaven. We had an opportunity to chat with Will who is a driven young professional. He is an incredible asset to the team, it was astonishing watching him work, assemble, clean up, connect with the family making everyone laugh. He did everything on his own! He made the work look so easy, but he definitely put forth his best effort and it showed.

Everyone was extremely full and satisfied, and we had lots of leftovers to take with us for our long journeys home. We cannot recommend the company enough! And the pricing is extremely fair for the quality and service provided. I would absolutely do this again in a second. Outer Banks Boil Company came right to our house and made dinner feel like a party. They showed up with everything—big pots, burners, and all the good stuff: andouille sausage, potatoes, corn on the cob, and a mountain of peel-and-eat shrimp. They set up in our family room and got to work while we hung out around the dinner table, just soaking it all in.

The smell alone was amazing—spicy sausage, buttery shrimp, and that classic Old Bay kick. The kids got into it too, tossing corn into the pot and asking a million questions. It felt like we were part of the process, not just waiting for food.

Wilson did our catering for 6 of us we did the 10 portions and added some crab and lobster with a key lime pie and some cornbread muffin. We had originally scheduled for Monday Memorial Day. We found out last minute 2 of our group were leaving early on Monday. I contacted Wilson on Saturday to see if he was able to change us to Sunday (short notice and on one of the busiest days of the year). He told me they were booked up but he would see what he could do. He called me backs. Few hours later and told us he would be able to fit us in at our ideal time and would do the service himself. Amazing flexibility and customer service. Really went above and beyond. He could have just kept us on Monday and made it easy on himself but he went the extra mile. Every thing was amazing. The sausage was sourced in and was awesome. Crab was tender and juicy. Lobster tail was perfec and the key lime pie was homemade and hit the spot late night. Wilson was friendly we hung out and chatted while he cooked. He set everything up, was organized and clean and outgoing!
