The Growler has wine and craft beer. It's locally owned, dog friendly, staffed by friendly bartenders and usually occupied by a blend of locals & tourists. If you drink too much call Designated Driver Taxi. If you didn't drink enough go to Emerald Club (E-Club) after. They're on Untappd.
Music: The radio is usually on. They have touchtunes & there is live music often on Friday and Saturday.
Beer: There are 16 taps and there's usually a cider, a sour, a stout, a red, a brown, maybe a golden and a couple of IPAs. They also have domestic beer if you ask for it such as Michelob Ultra Light, Natural Light & Bud Light.
Wine: I don't drink wine so I can't elaborate too much here, but there are a variety of wines here such as red, white, etc.
Games: They have cornhole outside and some shuffleboards inside.
Overall it's a great vibe, a very chill place and the best place on the island to just sit down...

They were even in good shape! The crowd was on the older side but again, this was a Tuesday. I can tell it would be very busy on the weekends especially when tourist...
Read moreThis is our first stop once we get to EI. Literally, we drive 15 hour from Canada to this special place, never going past the round about till we pop in for a pint. We have never been let down - the bar staff and regular locals from year to year bring the biggest smile to our faces. We are dog lovers - and there is nothing better than seeing such a dog friendly place. We love RC and all the other puppers we get to greet! You if you don't love dogs and beer, keep your negative comments...
