TERRIBLE, I don't think I ever had such a bad experience, it was almost time to go and I understand I worked for a fast food chain as a worker , so I get it, what makes this experience is I tried from the beginning to be friendly and thoughtful, I understood that the staff could of been tired and ready to go home, but I was expecting the grace I gave , the manager was rude disrespectful, the young lady working was kind a patiently waiting but the manager never asked me if I was finished or he had his staff to clean grill I asked after being told I couldn't get my order if I wanted something else from the young lady ,i can tell she wanted to help more but the Manager had his own agenda he didn't ask if I needed anything, then I confronted him, he wasn't thoughtful or sorry or anything that would of made me feel he wanted to make the issue right , I'm definitely reaching out to corporate, because last time I checked customer do come first , D'Angelo I have family and friends that live in this community and they don't like what happen it gave me racist attitude, trust me I'm coming back there and he the manager needs to be better it's the community that helps him pay his bills not his funky attitude, he's a idiot and doesn't deserve the great staff they are being lead wrong, customer service is a priority and privilege for D'Angelo please...
Read moreDisclaimer, I'm a professionally trained chef and understand the food service industry. My problem is not with management, or the employees because of what I've observed, they are performing their jobs with the standards their employers demand. My problem therefore is with the freshness of the ingredients and how they are used. I ordered a cold Turkey and cheese grinder and a steak and cheese sandwich (which should be their specialty). The turkey had a funky taste, like when you buy deli turkey and wait a week to eat it, and the steak and cheese, wgoafurly overcooked. Both sandwiches had stale, previously frozen rolls, (when your rolls have a cracked look, it means they were frozen). My online order even sat in the window without telling me it was ready even though I arrived before it was done. Dangelos is basically going the way of Subway, not fresh ingredients made by uninspired cooks with managers who are only there trying not to lose their jobs.. It's a shame because its not hard to run a sandwich restaurant
I appreciate the feedback, but to amend this review I should mention that today I had diarrhea, and the steak sandwich was all I ate yesterday. Pretty sure I won't...
Read moreI usually never post complaints but this is horrible. I ordered 2 steak sandwiches, which I’m currently eating. The sandwiches were horrible. I ordered a steak and cheese with extra cheese, provolone and shredded parm. They put about 1 scoop of meat on it and only put the Parmesan. Another sandwich I got was supposed to be a LB but used a food scale to weight it and it was less than 1/2 a pound, bread cheese and all. Do better. I spent $37 for 2 sandwiches that would be worth MAYBE $20. Severely disappointed. Going to order in store and make them change the sandwich if it isn’t right.
I’ve never gotten food this disappointing from anywhere before. Think before you order here. They will skimp despite their inflation prices. You order certain things and they just blatantly didn’t put anything extra I ordered. This location SUCKS. do not order...
