Where do I start.. I’m not one to post these things but it really bothered me so here I go!
Bathrooms are outdated and filthy one thing to be outdated but another to be dirty! (Cabinets and stalls)
Overheard as we were leaving another waitress asking if they wanted freshly grated cheese we were never offered that.
Forgot drinks.
Ran out of bread, offered garlic bread instead nice right? Was with another family, separate tables who were given another round of bread when asked however we were told can’t do that.
Didn’t understand as it wasn’t mentioned in menu, or told at time of order that we were given one small bowl (same size bowl you would get a small side salad ) of pasta to share for four people.. this bowl not placed in center of table but placed to the left of one person at the end of the table who thought the bowl was just for him.. so when asked “does pasta come with this? Was told yes it was the bowl that I put on table for everyone to share”. How are we supposed to know that? Served zitti and sauce along with chicken francaise.. always just had linguini with this type of dish.. this was only served with chicken cutlets on a plate which was just awkward to be serviced a plate with chicken with no pasta or veggies at the same time.
Google hours were different than what was told.
Went to get something out of car walked out and was locked out of building thank goodness I had my phone was told they closed so they lock doors. Why can’t you keep doors open while patrons are still inside? If people come in just let them know you aren’t servicing anymore. Have a sign on door? So many other options than just locking doors. A lady went out to smoke and she couldn’t get back in either. Another lady went to help her mom in a car and went back to get something and couldn’t get back in.
Employees sit on the side of the building smoking with door open, how disgusting and trashy!
Do people really have good experiences here? The food wasn’t even impressive for the costs they charge. $30 for three chicken cutlets cold bread no even warm.. that they ran out of.. and you have to share zitis and red sauce .. no vegetables at all ethier? Just so strange way to serve.
Oh yes, best part I had no idea but I was telling a man about my experiences with the waitress and food and the guy just listened.. no reaction no response just asked who is the waitress but later I find out it was the owner..: he could had been the slightest empathetic or concerned how we were feeling. Our check was not the slightest of low and we left feeling ripped off and not having a good experience. Maybe waitress had a bad day ok no problem but Won’t be back mainly because of the owner and person behind...
Read moreWent here for a company christmas party. Group of about 25 people. First off I do not like giving negative reviews to any place, especially a family owned establishment. We were a large group so I can understand the slower service. We had one waitress for the entire party, so the speed of everything coming out was not all her fault. She did the best she could to keep up with all orders. That being said, it was incredibly slow for our food to come out. We sat at 5:30 and didn't even put out food orders in until 7... when most people recieved there food it was around 8- 8:30. Since we were all having a good time with each other, not a huge deal but slow non the less. I ordered the surf and turf along with numerous others in our group. Some ordered there steaks rare some medium. There was an issue with everyone's steak being cooked wrong. Most people didn't say anything I did. I was the last one to recieve my meal at the table. Most people were already finished with there meals before I got it. My steak was raw in the center so I sent it back. It is almost $40 for there surf and turf meal. I was a little surprised that the waitress gave me a little bit of a hard time when sending it back, stating that's how they cook medium steaks. When I recieved my steak back it was terrible. One of the worst steaks I have ever had. I am 99.9% sure that the "cooks" put my plate into the microwave and reheated it. Plate was hot to the touch, it had the same steak on it, cut in the middle where I cut it, and in the same position on the plate from when I sent it back. First of all, if I am paying almost $40 for a steak it should be excellent. If I send it back because it is not cooked right it should be a new steak. I did not eat the steak and didnt even bother sending it back again considering it was already late and everyone else was done eating. If my food was reheated in the microwave, like I am positive that it was, the owner of this place should be ashamed of themselves. I would never come...
Read moreI cannot emphasize how kind and thorough not only our waitress but the chef was with our group’s allergy concerns. They went above and beyond for our long list of allergies and were able to provide everything but desert for us. Although they assured us next time, they would be able to accommodate us with some lovely tiramisu. Refills on drinks were very timely, and the waitstaff was incredibly friendly and good conversationalists. I would feel safe eating there again for sure, which with my food allergies is not something I can often say. We got the garlic bread with mozzarella, salad with balsamic vinaigrette, chicken vegetable soup, pesto fettuccine with chicken, and chicken parm. We would describe them as the following:
Garlic Bread with mozzarella (4/5), the bread was fresh and crisp, paired well with a dab of olive oil, and was an amazing appetizer that we would gladly recommend others try.
House Salad (2/5) the house salad fell short in the flavor department as it was mostly lettuce and spinach except for two cherry tomatoes and one lone slice of cucumber.
Chicken Soup (3.5/5); The soup was hearty and well seasoned, not mind-blowing but still good
Pesto Fettuccini with Chicken (3.5/5) The pesto fettuccine chicken was average, with far more sauce than pasta, and a slightly odd minty aftertaste. Otherwise enjoyable
Chicken Parmigiana (4/5) The chicken parmigiana was well seasoned and had wonderfully balanced sauce and mouth-watering mozzarella. The ziti was cooked well, but not mindblowing. All dinners claim to come with ziti, vegetables, and house salad, however, we did not receive vegetables. Would love to try this again perhaps with a different choice of pasta.
Coffee 5/5, the hostess went out of her way to make a fresh pot for us at 4 in the afternoon, absolutely stellar, and we didn't even have to ask thanks very much for that!
The restaurant was very clean, which is something you cant find often these days, we will surely be coming back again in the...
