I had high expectations after I saw numerous Yelp friends sending mostly 5 stars here...YuXiang knocked it out...

YuXiang Ambiance & Service: The dining area is Chinese style housings. Dark Wooden tables and chairs paired with predominately red color scheme and Chinese murals with tall ceilings makes for an attractive dining area. Our server was extremely helpful with picking out the popular dishes and answering our questions on spiciness and sweetness. The kitchen got our dishes to the table quickly which was impressive considering how intricate and fresh the dishes were.

YuXiang cuisine: steamed dumplings - 6 in a serving and they were tasty shumai paired with the spicy mustard was a hit. Spicy Seafood Shrimp Soup - The perfect amount of spice that enhances flavor but doesn't burn the mouth. This was loaded with shrimp, squid, clams, etc Sweet and Sour Pork - fried perfectly and we kept the flavorful sauce on the side for dipping. Chili Garlic Beef - A delicious dish and the garlic works so well here. jjajangmyeon - A popular dish with great justification. The noodles were fresh and the black bean sauce was savory af. This will definitely be a staple on future visits.

Overall YuXiang really nailed it on their sauces and seasoning on all the dishes we tried. Nothing was too bold or bland and they have their system down. I love the Korean/Chinese concept as it makes for some great options and dishes. We'll be back to try more...

Gonna come back for the mouth watering walnut shrimp! It is the best I've ever had in town. The crab cakes are delightful in robust flavors as well as the crispy calamari with a spicy kick. The black bean rice dish was savory and delicious. The service was courteous, kind and helpful with providing me advice with my order and we received our food fast to satisfy our hangry angst. I wish I had taken photos of our dishes but they were too irresistibly tasty to wait for and we didn't have the chance to. Our eyes bigger than our stomach seeing other people's plates, decided to order more tantalizing food resulting us with leftovers. This pleased us becuase that meant it could be enjoyed again for a tasty lunch the next day. I only wish we saved room for dessert. This is a gem of a restaurant to enjoy and the atmosphere is beautiful with wood carved decor, wooden chairs and tables and paintings with clean bathrooms. I want to bring my family and friends here since the food and atmosphere is so pleasing. I look forward to return to taste the lunch special and try more of thier items. Thier prices are unbeatable for the quality and proportions they serve. Hands down one of my new favorite...
