This review was about the Thursday night dinner which required reservation. A four course meal which was astoundingly wonderful! BBQ chicken legs, St. Louis BBQ baby back ribs, salad and peach cobbler. I am from Georgia and have traveled all over and tasted many flavors all around this great country of ours from Texas to Chicago and many in between. Georgia knows BBQ, I will say the lollipop BBQ chicken and St. Louis baby back ribs and sauce was ridiculously excellent. The BBQ sauce had a hint of smokey flavor and tangy with just the right balance. The ribs in a class all by itself, it should not be referenced as St. Louis ribs for this reason but labeled something absolutely different!. The peach cobbler was without a doubt equal to Georgia peach cobbler, we know peach cobbler in the peach state. The salad was excellent with the candied walnuts and all the other ingredients crispy and interesting and very well done! The wine selected with each corce ( mark ,Ryan wine) was some of the best wine I have had the pleasure to taste. We all have different preferences red, white or rose'. I truly could not make choice which I liked the best , what a master wine maker! The ambiance, and staff were wonderful, a great bunch of professionals and took great care to create this event. I was so pleased with the presentation and quality I almost felt guilty about what I paid for this fine meal and experience! I most certainly would have been willing to pay more knowing now what I experienced. CUDOS to Patrick ( a BBQ master without a doubt) and John for preparing and creating such wonderful food! Folks this is a wonderful place and the execution of service was unparalleled, the staff...
Read moreIt's been a while since I went out to brunch, but I think we will make this a regular habit. Very casual atmosphere in this small, slightly posh bistro, with great, friendly service and a really nice vibe. For Brunch there is a small selection of very well done items to go with the usual wine selection and tasting flights, along with a selection of Mimosas and Bloody Mary's. I had the Mimosa "flight" which included the regular, a Mango variety, and one other. I forget the other because I got distracted by the Mango. We did that one again as a full cocktail! The selections were tasty and light. My Triple Berry Crepe was sweet and filling, and just right for the morning. My wife had the Avocado toast and loved it. We were going to take some home and then, it was all gone! My son had the Breakfast Burrito and enjoyed it enormously - a great combination of eggs, bacon, roasted potatoes with onions and brie - he enjoyed every bite.
As always service was friendly and warm, and that made it an excellent way to spend one of the first sunny mornings we've had in a long while. Five stars for sure. Addendum: Really special dinner! Had a chance to reserve seats for the Mark Ryan wine dinner, featuring a selection of white and red wines paired with a superb menu of tasty dishes. Started off with a delicious roasted beet salad with goat cheese, sliced apples, and mixed greens and a vinaigrette dressing - perfect! Then chicken drumstick lollipops, barbecued, followed by a rack of really well prepared pork ribs. All paired with excellent white wines and a Pinot noir - fantastic! Signing...
Read moreBordeaux is a gastronomical treat! The establishment is eclectic with indoor and outdoor seating private and romantic with special lighting and a high energy fun experience in all respects. Wait staff is very helpful and attentive. The menu leans towards wine however, don't let that fool you. The charcuterie boards are amazing and provide a variety of sampling for your palate. See attached photos. We ordered the hummus charcuterie with pita, olives, marcona almonds, peppers and carrot strips, and two of the best rice stuffed grape leaves (Dolmas) I have ever had, so deliciously prepared we were enthralled in flavor. My wife had sparkling lemon water and I sparkling limoncello which has a hint of vanilla with lemon, fantastic and refreshing, I suggest trying the limoncello. She had grilled cheese panini with grilled peppers and prosciutto. I had the steak panini with aioli and gruyere. Both panini's were delicious. We both chose the tomato bisque. The bisque is creamy and flavorful, we loved the quality. To top off the evening our beautiful daughter brought us a chocolate ganache with a white chocolate center and brownie like base (see photos) which was phenomenal. We has coffee and cream from Java coffee they served, bold and a perfect pair. You owe it to yourself to take a drive out SR 410 to Enumclaw, WA to experience this "fine dining " establishment. Highly...
