Flavors of The Rockies — Restaurant in Estes Park

This was my second visit (the first occurring in May 2016). Although the products here are tasty, the sizes are decreasing and the prices increasing for confections.

The first time I was here, I purchased the white chocolate Nutella cup. It was approximately 3 to 3-1/4" across, and the white chocolate was well over 1/4" (or so) thick, so the cup was about an inch tall. It felt like a substantially thick cup that I had to really try to crunch through. The Nutella filling was plentiful and delicious. I paid $4 for this white chocolate bliss, and was able to carry it for an hour before I ate it without it melting.

This time, the cup was only about a half inch tall (3/4" at the very most). It felt significantly smaller, and it began melting almost immediately. I also paid more this time, $4.50. Even though it still tasted delicious, I just felt like the value just wasn't there compared...

Stopped by to get any ice cream scoop and it was the Banana Pudiding. It was vanilla ice cream with a couple of vanilla waffers and it tastes store bought. Also got a coconut cluster which lotterally tasted like they took cheap chocolate discs you buy it the grocery store and melted it down and throw some KRAFT carmels in the center. There was not coconut flavor and the chocolate was mostly WAX. Too many ice cream shops to choose from an Estes but this is not one I would ever visit again. For 13$ I was...

We didn't get ice cream so I can't judge them on the ice cream but the cookies are not it. We got pb chocolate chip, snicker doodle, and white macadamia cc cookie. Snicker was alright nothing special, same with macadamia. However the peanut butter chocolate was literally flavorless. I forgot even got peanut butter chocolate chip because there was no peanut butter flavor whatsoever. The whole cooking was just bland and the texture wasn't even good.
