Honestly was super disappointed, drove 2 hours to enjoy my favorite food place and get ice cream after, only for the shop to be closed 2 hours early… worker looked at us and just kept sweeping, saying no. RUDE. Was shocked it was the only ice cream shop that was closed on the block with people out walking the streets all over the place. Honestly just think if you’re going to close early maybe leave a sign or maybe consider changing the store hours. Also tried to call 4 times today and no answer, I’ve wanted to try this ice cream shop since I was 13 as it’s spelled the same as my name. Read moreAfter a long, hot afternoon of hiking in RMNP, our group decided we wanted some ice cream. The night before we saw multiple ice cream shops in town and chose this one because of the name and amazing smells wafting out of the place! We each asked to sample a flavor or two before we committed, which they happily allowed us and others around us to do. I will warn you, if you get a full size cone it is a little pricey, so if money is of concern, try the smaller size cone. Also, since it is so pricey, ask for a sample before you commit so that you know you like it! The homemade ice cream was amazing! We all ended up with different flavors and shared. When we mentioned it to the cashier, he asked it we would like to be charged both as doubles. No thank you, we'd prefer to get what we pay for and when it's brought to your attention for it to be made right. Also, the cup one scoop is less than the cone one scoop.
