Raven's Roast Coffee Lounge — Restaurant in Estes Park

We got 98% of the way to the new location but could not find it. (Google Maps had the location wrong, but it has since been fixed.) It is at George Hix Riverside Plaza. The front door is not on East Elkhorn Ave. Once we found it, we loved it.

The staff is very friendly, our drinks were perfect, and the place is just cool. It's cozy and calming and the raven décor is so nice! We liked that it was off the main street. It felt quiet.

The only thing I would change is this - There are card games and board games for patrons to borrow while there. Currently they are on the fireplace mantle. We were sitting in the 2 chairs in front of the fireplace, so people kept stepping over our stuff to get to the games as we were in their way. It was awkward for everyone. Maybe move the games to the table to the right of the front door, and put the raven décor that is on the table, on the mantle? Tyler is very good at making coffee foam look pretty. This small coffee shop has a nice atmosphere that makes it feel a cozy place to visit. Although I had a nice conversation with the baristas I don't think I'll be visiting here again. While I'm no expert in coffee or tea by any means, I ordered my chai spicy and it tasted quite mild and awfully sweet. I was disappointed in that aspect but also the lady at the counter that took my order was a little rude. When she had asked if I wanted my chai spicy or sweet it was a loud and my best guess was that she asked my name for the order: a typical practice for coffee shops. She then asked the question again and proceeded to have a minute long dialogue about how she didn't need my name for the order and almost condescendingly explains how they announce the drink orders instead. Without any doubt, I can say that Raven's Roast is the best coffee shop in Estes. There is not a single day that l don't stop by for a coffee. The owner Sherian and her 3 wonderful baristas make my day start good every morning. You always feel very welcome there and get the best service. They have all kind of options, and everything l tried so far was very delicious. They also got some special and fresh pastries and it is addictive. And about the atmosphere, l love how cozy and warm it feels. They play live music some days in a week and one of the singers is also the barista Bella, she is so talented and she has a magical voice.
