Worst experience ever! This was my first experience with Jersey Mike's and I will never return again since that is the way you treat your customers. I tried to call in an order but no one answered and there was no one at the store. How do I know that because I was in the parking lot talking to my husband then when we were done I called the store I was in front of when no one answered I entered and it was 8:40pm. They still had 20 minutes but they were all cleaned up and ready to go. I asked if I could still order and the man looked at the clock and said "you could still order" with the emphasis on 'could'. And I did. When I gave him my first sandwich order he went right in and started making it at the end he asked if I needed chips or a drink. I told him I would get chips with both of my sandwiches. He said you want another sandwich? The turned his head around and looked at the clock. Meanwhile, one of the other employees kept groaning, a young man, he was not about to go unheard about how displeased he was as well. It was the quickest sandwich ever made in history. Since it is a chicken philly I only hope the chicken is cooked! I paid and left and it was 9:00pm when I walked out. They did not stay longer than what they were scheduled for I am sure. Wish I would have just went home and cooked instead of giving my money to a place like this. They need to find a job they can be happy with. I will find another place to eat when I get off working my second...
Read moreDon't get me wrong I love Jersey Mike's. But I do have an issue when I call in an order and no one tells me that the sandwich I ordered isn't available. They allowed me to pay for it and when I went to pick it up there was nothing on the receipt indicating that my sandwich was not there. In fact it was in a larger bag which made me not question the lighter weight because I figured it was distributed pretty well. Thankfully my husband opened the bag and is like where's your sandwich? So I go inside and I'm like where's my sandwich and they're like oh we're sorry we don't have any roast beef today. I was like so you were going to let me drive away without my sandwich? Well they were very apologetic and they did make me another sandwich I did have to point out to them that the sandwich I chose cost less than the sandwich I paid for. I asked them if I could grab one of the little dessert things they have and they really didn't want me to do that. I can't understand why you would not want to make someone come back to your place when you made an error. This is not the only error they have made and I have learned to open up my bag and look at everything including how my sandwich was made before I even leave. It's a good thing that it tastes so good that it makes up for somewhat lacking service. Stepping up a little bit and taking ownership would definitely make them five star...
Read moreREVISED FOR HELPFULNESS, 12/21/21. This is not a comprehensive review since I didn't eat the subs I bought for others. However, as a first-time customer, I found the procedural signage lacking. When facing the counter, the line starts on the right side. You move right to left, ordering items for your sandwich from different employees as you move down the line. Pay at the cash register on the left, after ordering. However, the biggest issue I encountered would likely not pass a health inspection: after paying, the cashier put her bare hands into the INSIDE of the drink cups to pull them from the stack. I asked her for new cups, with her touching only the OUTSIDE. She seemed confused by the request and asked another employee for assistance. Most places stack their cups upsidedown to avoid this issue. However, it appeared this store stacked them right side up, forcing the cashier to use her dirty hands to pull each one out from inside the cup. Regardless of how they were stacked, she inserted her hands into the inside of the cup. I appreciate the comments from the manager on this post to address this issue and assume it will...
