Hit and miss. They 100% need to list prices of their beers. We got 2 flights and it was $42 I don't care who and where you are you should never EVER charge $42 for 2 beer flights. Scotch or whisky flights sure but not beer. She said the total and I was shocked but what do you do?! Say no thanks even though it's already poured... Felt like a trap and amazes me more that they aren't surprised but the prices.....
It's not fair for me to leave 1 star for everything BUT EVERYONE should see this and the fact if they get barrel aged beers on their flight that they will be GOUGED... Mind you I have been to MANY taprooms in Oregon, Washington, Canada, etc. and have never ever been charged that much even for barrel aged 5oz pours...
Calling out the manager. I personally wouldn't be back and would not recommend this place. Simply on the fact of what I experienced even my friend was shocked (I paid)...
To the "owners" response.
There were NO prices displayed on the non digital beer menu on the back wall. Again I have had aged beers at many breweries I have visited and I have never had 2 flights cost nearly $50... it's absurd. Both my friend and I also did not enjoy either of the aged beers we purchased on our flights so in reality it was a lose lose. Horrible experience of "sticker" shock when told my total and not great experience for either flight.
I hope you list prices in the future or at least tell the staff to tell customers that the 5oz pours of aged are priced much higher. Again if we knew the price we would have stuck to...
Read moreA popular spot with a rotating set of 8 food trucks surrounding a brewery. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating (with a big outdoor enclosed & heated tent in the cold/rainy season). They've often got events like trivia or live music. My wife and I love the variety and quality of the food at the trucks. I particularly love the Thai, the Indian fusion, and the pizza trucks. We usually bring our dogs, and a lot of other people do too.
There's no service, to speak of: you always order and pick up your food/drink and bus your own tables. Located at the edge of The Whitaker neighborhood, it's easy to walk to from downtown, but the industrial area and train tracks feel occasionally sketchy.
It's becoming one of our go-to spots because of the food quality/variety and the fact we can take our dogs, plus the people watching and...
Read moreHot Honey in Eugene really hit the spotâdefinitely a place Iâd recommend if youâre in the area and hungry.
I ordered the Meech Breakfast Sandwich and their Eggs Benedict. The Meech came with a fried egg, cheese, juicy fried chicken thigh, thick-cut bacon, and a creamy sriracha mayo. It was packed and super satisfyingâdonât let the picture fool you, this sandwich is huge and looks even bigger in person.
Their take on the Eggs Benedict was also greatâfried chicken on waffles, topped with syrup and hollandaise sauce. It was a really tasty spin on the classic, and honestly had more flavor than a lot of traditional versions Iâve had. Also super filling.
Both dishes were solid, flavorful, and left me full. Definitely will be...
