Yamada Vending Co — Local services in Eugene

Do you love shopping for quality imported goods, but without the social interaction? Look no further than Yamada Vending Co! No cashier, no clerk, no problem. Just a pristine climate controlled room lined with vending machines! They've got a surprising variety of drinks, food, cooking supplies, toys and household items. According to a sign I read inside, they even have Gacha machines coming soon!

The prices seem fair to me, they're comparable to what I've seen in other import shops around town carrying similar items. A big positive here is that the machines take cash and card. Overall it's a very cute shop, and a pretty unique spot. If nothing else, I'd recommend dropping in for the novelty and grabbing a cold...

Have been here a couple times now, was grabbing a couple items out of one of the machines, but it was still dispensing one of the items, so it got stuck on the flap. They do have signs about this! I just wasn't thinking and was in a rush because someone else was waiting for the machine. It was completely my fault, but when I emailed Yamada Co. to tell them what happened, they got back to me in less than 10 minutes with amazing customer service and offering me a few potential solutions depending on whether the item fell to the back of the machine or not. This place was so cute, would be a great place to stop for a date or bring kids to for fun and interesting treats.

The coin operated Gashapon machines had fun/ kawaii prizes from Studio Ghibli, Pokémon, Dragon Ball Z, Hello Kiity and other Sanrio characters. And the vending machines had hard to find Japanese snacks and drinks, they even had chocolate Taiyaki!
