Been going there for years, almost always order the Tom Kha with brown rice. I called in an order today and had Tom Yum with jasmine rice (which I never order) when I got home. When I called back the worker who answered the phone was polite and said "there totally might have been a mix up because they were really busy earlier". He told me to come in and they'd exchange the order. I told him I wasn't going to drive back across town today, I wanted to have something put by my name (which I know they have in their system) for when I came in next. The young man said his manager had to do that. When the manager got on the line he asked me if I had the receipt and what it said on the receipt. Of course the receipt said Tom Yum with Jasmine. He told me that must have been what I ordered if that's what the receipt said. He said their was nothing he could do. I own a food service business, and if we had a complaint like this we would assume the customer was right every time and compensate them for the mistake. Very...
Read moreI would not recommend Tasty Thai Campus. Today was the second time I ordered the Pad Green Curry to go and both times the dish was so salty that I drank multiple glasses of water while eating. The other dishes I've tried have also been lackluster. The Garlic Ginger stir-fry had very coarsely chopped vegetables and many large slices of ginger that were inedible and had to be picked out of the rice. The Crispy Pork and Crispy Chicken are simply fried strips of meat that come with a sauce, some lettuce, and rice. Very plain and unsatisfying. While their portion sizes are decent, the quality of the preparation has gone down dramatically since I first started eating here. I will...
Read moreThe atmosphere is very hole-in-the-wall, I'd say better suited to take-out rather than dine in. Staff are for the most part students attending college, with the Thai owner supervising. Staff is surly, but it shouldn't matter too much as the only interaction with them is paying up front. Pad See Eu was cooked to order, unfortunately the noodles were a bit overcooked. Broccoli seemed to be needing a more thorough wash. Sause was garlic and soy sauce, lacking depth of flavor. The chicken was well cooked and flavorful, if a little dry. I would recommend it if you have a coupon, but there is better food for cheaper nearby if you...
