This was the highlight of our honeymoon vacation. Laura attended us upon checking in and was very friendly and helpful. She gave us a map of the town and marked her recommendations on places to eat. We were on a weeklong trip so we mostly ate in. For our two nights in this place we had everything we needed to cook with in the little kitchen, equipped with a fridge, stove, utensils and plateware. The room was immaculately clean and organized and they left behind a few snacks in the fridge for us. They also had a container of birdseed provided to refill the feeder. A resident squirrel and plenty of birds took advantage of that. There's a really big selection of DVDs to check out for free in the lobby. We made it a point to do nothing but stay in our treehouse the two days we spent here, enjoying the beautiful view. The only thing I would change is the size of the bed, it was a bit small. We stayed in the Hidden Oak Treehouse. Confirmed with the locals that this IS the original treehouse place in Eureka. We plan on coming back for our anniversary getaways as much as we can, and hopefully the current owners keep it for years to come.

This was one of the best places I’ve stayed in quite awhile. Check-in was very easy and we somehow found our way to the treehouse even late at night. The path was well lit and a charming welcome, and the view the next morning was even better! The treehouse was extremely clean, not a spec of dust or a cobweb anywhere. Everything seems to be very well built and maintained over the years. It ended up being very warm in February, so we had the windows open during the day but a fire roaring at night. If I had to do it all again (and I hope we can!), I would just bring my own meals and not leave at all. Downtown Eureka Springs is very convenient and fun, but I found myself just wanting to be back at the treehouse anytime we left! We enjoyed the comfortable bed, the nice tub, and relaxing on the patio watching deer grazing. Coffee and a few other refreshments were provided and much appreciated. I really loved the pottery and hope to catch the gift shop open sometime so I can bring something home. Thanks for a great stay!

The area/location is gorgeous, at the same time convenient to downtown and things to do. This place is a nature lovers dream. Beautiful and comfortable cottage, clean and furnished very well. In our treehouse, we could not hear the traffic noise. So it was really like floating in the trees with only nature around. We were greeted by a doe and her twin fawns one morn. They provide bird seed, so we put out some on the deck and watched the birds and squirrels enjoy. The jetted hot tub is just the icing on the cake after a day of hiking, just to relax and watch the sun set over a beautiful peaceful scenery. They provide couple of soft drinks, snacks and coffee for refreshment, that's a really nice and thoughtful touch. We loved it there, definitely will come back, and I'm telling all my friends!!!!! The check in and out process is super easy and no hassle, love it!

I have heard of how great The Treehouse Cottages in Eureka Springs since 2009. How there were all sorts of attractions to attend. My fiancé’ and myself booked a cottage from 2/4/24 to 2/10/24 back in December of 2023. We were so excited to finally get there. When we arrived we were blown away by the dead town. Nothing happening anywhere and hardly saw many people. The following morning we woke up and started to plan our day. Got on the internet and looked up things exciting to do. Much to our surprise every placed we looked up was shutdown for the winter. We went to the big cats reserve and talked to employees. They told us that the city shuts down for the winter every year. Well after out 10 hour trip up there we were fully pissed off. The Manager could have been upfront with us and told me the city is shut down until Mach. We would have gladly put our trip off for a month considering we both are retired. Wasted time, energy and money. If you ask me that’s piss poor management. || As for as the cabin goes it was very clean and cozy. We loved the cabin it and was unique. We were very glad we brought food to cook because there was only one grocery store and not many places to eat at this time of year. It is not easy to get your luggage to the cabbage. You have to walk down two flights of stairs then two walk ways with a foot drop on each walkway, then another flight of stairs before the walking deck to the cabin. It was not easy for two people that are 67 years old. We did enjoy our time in the cottage but everything else sucked. We even drove to Branson one day for excitement but their attractions were shutdown as well. || Honest is always the best policy in life. But when someone plans a trip up there manage should tell you there is nothing to do up there until late March. Don’t believe we will make that...

We stay at Hillside Haven. This was our 5th trip down to our Happy Place. My husband and I have looked forward to this little oasis for our "adult trip" to center ourselves. This gem is located a hop skip and jump from everything, located on Van Buren. Bedroom, Loft, Hot tub on the deck, and the best view of the forest and valley. We have coffee looking at all of the song birds staking a claim at the feeder. The attached gift shop has added a few thing to our collection. My husband and I are not wealthy, and save to be able to go to Arkansas from Kansas. We found our just days prior that the previous owners had retired, God bless them for it. Saw on a review about the new owners having dogs, we have a bird, we love pets. With that being said.... I booked these reservations in plenty of time to be notified that a new dog run was now located under the cottage. I am highly allergic to different breeds, and thank God I did not have a reaction. I have to carry an inhaler at all times, because my asthma is so unpredictable. Then the Barking started. I can stay home. Not drive 4 hours pay money and listen to dogs barking for free. Not that they do it constantly, but enough to be annoyed and shut the deck door and windows. We are probably the few who go to Eureka to stay "home" but we found ourselves getting away more. Especially after finding dog hair in the cottage. I am happy for the old owners, and confused by the new. Why is nothing said on your website that is exactly the same? For the record, I am not against dogs, just against not letting your paying guests know that things have changed. We actually extended our stay this time to watch the Super Bowl. The dogs were still out well after my bedtime. I am offended that they did not care about my vacation sleep. We will...

This was our 2nd time to stay at the treehouse cottages. Our first time was last year with the original owners and this time with the new owners. I didn’t know there was an owner change but you can definitely tell. Our first time was AMAZING!! Best customer service and experience. Met the owner and he was so friendly. We loved it and couldn’t wait to go back. This time it was very different. Treehouse was still beautiful and we love that part but the customer service was AWFUL! We came down Sunday late afternoon to check in and the office was closed so we tried calling and couldn’t get ahold of someone for over 20 min during office hours. Finally reached the office and the lady was blatantly rude. I was just curious how we check in and where the treehouse was since we were staying in a different one. She told me she emailed and texted me that morning the info. I told her I didn’t receive either. She went on to say she emailed and texted the info to the number and email I entered originally. I told her I had received an email of confirmation originally and an email a couple weeks ago so my email info was entered correctly or I wouldn’t have gotten those. Anyway, she continued to directly blame me for the wrong email she typed in. I was shocked. I was kind and she was directly ugly. We ended up receiving the info and got to our treehouse and had a great stay. The electric reclining chairs had messed up our 2nd night so we called after hours to inform the office. Never heard from them about it the next day. So a little weird and not like the customer service from the original owners.

Our two interactions with staff were extremely disappointing but our actual treehouse was great! We plan to try the other local treehouse next year for our vacation so we can support great...
