Voodoo lounge — Restaurant in Eureka Springs

We were there midafternoon on a Saturday. The bartender had two friends she was talking to while waiting on us. We weren’t sure what we wanted because we had never been there before. The bartender seemed impatient as she wanted to talk to her friends. Another customer came in and had a few people that would be joining her. The bartender told her she could gather outside of the bar area which seemed strange because there was plenty of seating in the place. When the customer asked the bartender about making a specific drink and requesting foam on top, the bartender said that they always have foam. The customer said I ordered 4 of the same drinks from you in the last 2 days and all were made differently (cups sizes, foam, etc.) The bartender very sarcastically said because we were busy. In between all of this, the bartender kept talking to her friends. It made us and the other customer feel like she really didn’t want us there. We paid for our drinks and left. It was disappointing because we heard great reviews...

I don’t like giving 1 star reviews but it was that bad. Vodka club soda was fine. Can’t really mess that up. The old fashion was $15 and it was a very small amount with a very large ice cube. If you took the ice cube out it barely made it to 1/8 of the glass. The mozzarella sticks were not cooked through so were hard in the middle. No napkins were provided and it was served with ranch dressing instead of red sauce. When I asked if they had flavored vodka the waitress said ‘yes’. So I asked what flavors. It was like pulling teeth. I heard two other customers saying they did not like their drinks. It’s a place I would never go back to. Bad customer service...

Destiny was the best local bartender and such a sweet, friendly person. She mixed up her best Old Fashioned and Sazerac for us on our visit. Smoked old fashioned, knew her bourbons from her whiskeys, and showed her expertise in her flavor combinations. Wonderful conversationalist on every topic we discussed. We were traveling through on the way back from Florida and we have every intention of returning here on our next trip to...
