Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Eureka

I guess I can take or leave Applebee's. First off, I will never order take out from them again. They ALWAYS forget things or give cold food. I went in tonight though. They had an all-you-can-eat $14.99 special that included ribblets, boneless chicken wings and fried shrimp. Each came with fries and this cup of undressed coleslaw. We immediately ordered a next set after receiving the first plate. The second plate had more fries (they are cheaper than the meats so they want you to fill up on them). We, again, ordered a 3rd option. The 3rd plate was tiny. I had 3 boneless wings on that plate. The 4th plate was just as small. The serving sizes isn't why I only gave 3 stars or said I can take it or leave it. The food just isn't that great in my opinion. The ribblets had practically no meat, the chicken had so much heavily peppered batter on it that it wasn't so great either, but the shrimp did seem well done.

Our server was a wonderful person though! Every time she saw food brought to us she asked if we thought we would want another round so she could put the order in to have it ready when we were. She asked if we wanted more drinks when we were empty. When I said I didn't like spice and even the honey bbq was getting to me she offered options. Great gal. ZERO STARS - The food wasn't good and it was cold by the time it arrived at our table. That wasn't my motivation to leave a review though. We had the worst waitress I've ever encountered while dinning. She had a bad attitude from the start. She never came to our table besides one time to take our drink order. She wasn't the one that delivered our drinks, appetizers, or our cold food. She only had three tables including us, there was an abundance of other servers and the busers were on point and seemly helpful. However she never ONCE checked on us, refilled our empty drinks, asked if we needed anything or even payed us any attention. Half way through my cold meal I politely waved her down and said "excuse me". She said "I'll get to you" with an attitude and then she proceeded to passed us and our table over a dozen times. She was asking most of her other tables (that sat down after us) if they were doing okay. After about an hour I got up from my table upset and was going to go ask the bar tender for check so we didn't need to deal with our servers horrible attitude. Also so we could leave because neither of enjoyed our food or eat all but a few bites and she never came by so we could check in with her. We tried AppleBees for a 3rd time giving them a chance. The waitress Dena cannot get any order right. Her service sux. The general manager brought out our entrees and they were cold and didnt offer to refill our empty drinks when bringing the entrees. Dena asked if our food was warm enough. So you intentionally let our food get cold before you brought it out?!?! I am sick of resturants judging people and giving poor service when you dont get alcohol or all order water to drink. Thanks for ruining another birthday celebration because of poor service wrong orders and cold food. We wont be back and everyone we know will be given our review. PS we all have been servers and the staff at applebees all need replaced including the general manager. I would give 0 stars if I could. I dont think anyone that works.there wants to work. Two months later I am still waiting for corporate to get ahold of me. Apparently since no one that works there wants to work, the orders are wrong and the food is disgusting we should all ban this resturant so...
