Fiesta Café in Eureka has the kind of energy and character that makes you want to stay longer than you planned. It feels less like a polished restaurant and more like the kind of spot locals know and love for its comfort, character, and no nonsense good food. The place itself has a casual, almost hole in the wall vibe that adds to its charm, and the atmosphere is full of warmth and the steady hum of people who clearly come here often.

What makes Fiesta Café stand out to me is the balance of home style cooking and portions that are larger than life. When they bring a plate to your table it is stacked, colorful, and steaming hot, the kind of food that immediately makes you hungry just looking at it. Their burritos are massive, big enough to share but so good you will not want to. Stuffed with meat, rice, beans, salsa, and guacamole, every bite is filling and flavorful. The enchiladas come covered in sauce that tastes like it has been simmering all day, rich and savory with just enough spice to keep you coming back for another bite. Even their rice and beans, something you might overlook in other places, have that fresh, homemade taste that tells you nothing here is an afterthought.

The breakfast options deserve their own mention. A plate of huevos rancheros at Fiesta Café is comfort food at its finest, hearty, satisfying, and packed with flavor that feels like it was made in someone’s kitchen rather than a restaurant. Their breakfast burritos are so big and loaded that one can carry you through an entire day. It is the kind of breakfast that makes you slow down and enjoy the moment instead of rushing through your meal.

Fiesta Café also has some of the most refreshing drinks in town. Their aguas frescas are full of natural flavor, whether it is horchata with cinnamon that tastes like a sweet treat on its own, or fruit flavors that are light and refreshing. Pairing one of those with a giant burrito or plate of tacos makes the whole meal come together perfectly.

What really separates Fiesta Café from other Mexican spots in Eureka is its personality. It is not trying to be upscale or polished, it is unapologetically itself with hearty food, big plates, friendly people, and an atmosphere that makes you feel like you have found a spot just for you. It has that old school café soul that feels harder and harder to find these days.

For me, Fiesta Café is where I go when I want food that is real, filling, and comforting, the kind of meal that leaves you stuffed but smiling. It is a Eureka classic, a little rough around the edges in the best way, and a place that...

We’re in town for my husbands job. Needed a delicious spot for dinner open relatively late, and also had options for our two kids. Let me just say - this place is A MUST. I would gladly drive back 8 hours to enjoy a meal here again.

Our server - Salvador - was incredibly welcoming and pleasant. He was attentive to our drinks while dining and just was a great server.

Though there’s not a dedicated “kids menu” - my two kids got a simple ground beef taco with beans and rice on the side. They scarfed their plates.

My husband ordered the 3 Chipotle Fajitas and let me tell you, either: be hungry, be ready for leftovers, or share this with someone. The plate came out SIZZLING hot and was absolutely massive. The proteins were all seasoned beautifully and the peppers and onion were cooked well and complimented them perfectly. He didn’t even touch his beans and rice plate (which came separately) because the fajitas stole the show. And the homemade corn tortillas were absolute perfection.

I ordered the Carnitas platter and they were heavenly. They were juicy, tender, and seasoned so well. They absolutely fell apart at the touch of the massive homemade flour tortilla which was so incredibly soft and moist that I wanted to take a dozen home with me.

Oh, and to my Diet Coke girlies; it was the crispiest DC I’ve ever had at a restaurant.

Muchas gracias por la ruiquizimas comida. Espero que podamos...

¡Este es el lugar para la comida mexicana que es absolutamente deliciosa! (This is the place for Mexican food that is absolutely delicious!) I wanted to treat my husband and a good friend to a special lunch to celebrate both of their birthdays. I suggested we try Fiesta Cafe in Eureka. We had all been to Fiesta Cafe in Arcata many times through the years and enjoyed the food there. This would be our first time at the Eureka location. We were impressed by the comfortable feel of the restaurant itself, the wonderful service by our amazing server, and the excellent quality (and remarkable quantity!) of the food. I ordered the "Polla ala Crema." It was so tasty, and the plate of food was so huge that it made three meals for me! My husband had the "Customer Favorite!" Burrito, and now it is definitely his favorite, too! He absolutely loved the wonderful combination of ingredients. He is a big burrito eater, and his burrito was so big that it ended up making two meals for him! My friend ordered the two enchilada lunch and found it so delicious that she already has plans to order future meals from Fiesta Cafe via DoorDash. We ended our Fiesta Cafe feast with a crunchy, cinnamony buñuelo. Yes, it was a very special lunch for all three of us. If you are looking for delicious Mexican food in a friendly atmosphere, then consider going to Fiesta Cafe in Eureka. We HIGHLY...

I don’t review often but let me tell you, Fiesta Cafe is so legit. So f’n good. I live in Sacramento and don’t get out here often but I was here 2/8/23 and absolutely loved every bite. I had a lot of food. The Pork Tamale with Chile Relleno with beans. I added rice and flour tortilla. I’m telling you, I was having foodgasms. Super fresh tasting and absolutely authentic. I also ordered the street taco with their marinated asada. I was about to explode because I cleared my plates. Then…she convinced me to order the mini chimichangas dessert. Imagine churros stuffed with raspberry sauce and cream cheese then drizzled with chocolate sauce and whipped cream. C’mon. I’m about to have twin food babies (meaning I’m so stuffed it feels like I having twins). Service was awesome, fast and for sure, I can’t wait to come back!

Really disappointing. I've come here to dine-in as well as take-out. Every time I've gotten take out, my order was completely wrong. I ordered super burrito with beef carne asada (no beans - I HATE beans). First time, I got a chicken burrito with beans. Second time, some kind of pork with beans. First time, another woman was picking up her order and I thought they'd accidentally given me her burrito. Second time, I was the only one waiting for an order. Makes me feel like they're taking my money for the more expensive beef and giving me something else that's cheaper. Maybe they just have pre-made burritos, and they're giving me whatever is on hand (and since I'm not dine-in they can get away with it)? Or maybe just plain old incompetence. Either way, super SUPER irritating. I don't plan to be back.

Incredible.. Food was excellent and big portions. Waited a reasonable amount of time as they were actually cooking my food not just reheating. So I was happy to be patient. The staff was really friendly and polite. You felt welcome and treated like a guest and I just grabbed carryout. I ordered Chile relleno burrito(fiesta style rellenos) and instead of black beans got refried. Omg.... Soooooo good. A Breakfast burrito which was big and very delicious and a bowl of posole. Now the posole is spicy, not painfully but it is so good you don't care that it burns.. Huge chunks of carnitas(pork) and great broth. 80 percent meat to 20 percent Hominy. They have made me a lifetime customer. This is going to be my go-to for Mexican unless my ma is cooking😉
