Beautiful historic theater! The restoration crew has done a great job and I can’t wait to see it fully complete. I’m glad there are people that know what a special place Eureka Theater is and put in the work to preserve it. Great movie selection as well that creates a really fun movie watching experience. Being able to watch 30, 50, even 100 year old films in a classic movie theater is such a treat!

Amazing historic theater with a classy vintage vibe. Attended a foggy Saturday showing of The Birds, classic Hitchcock! BONUS: You can rent the restored 1940s apartment upstairs through vacasa for amazing access to old city and a memorable stay in Eureka!

These folks could not be nicer, more helpful, and they could not be better neighbors if they tried. It's a great venue. Your support can only help them renovate and restore and make it the most beautiful theater on the North Coast.

I came for Strange Brews, which is a beer festival where local breweries compete to make the strangest well... brew. The theater itself is a pretty amazing building in the process of being renovated to its 1920s glory. The board is all volunteer and a lot of their events are fundraising to continue renovations. They've got a full bar in the lobby and a capacity of around 800 people so you can be pretty sure there will be a seat available at any given event. They host a lot of local music shows as well as playing older themed movies, burlesque shows, and special events like...

Average theatre..except..ALL theaters used to admit wheelchair ridden people in for free, as did this one in the recent past, but now they charge. I think that is greedy they no longer accommodate. Seems they could at least give a discount for the impaired. I know this because the girl was VERY rude to the very disabled person that assumed it was still free. She rudely said no as if it was a Major waste...
