Met some friends for our first time there. I ordered Szechuan Beef, my favorite Chinese dish and the meal that I use to judge a Chinese Restaurant. I was informed that they were out of Szechuan Beef, but had chicken. I told him that I would have to come back to try the Szechuan Beef to truly judge his restaurant. I ordered Pad Thai instead, along with Pork Fried Rice. My wife ordered Chow Mein. Everything was great—the Pad Thai was delicious and the Fried Rice was very tasty. Service was friendly and the food came out quickly.

About two-thirds of the way through our meal, the owner showed up with a plate of Szechuan Beef. He said he talked the chef into making it for me, but he probably ran to the supermarket and bought the beef to make the dish. He said it was on the house! Well, it was awesome. The beef had a good crunch, the sauce was spicy and sweet with a great taste. And what a surprise!

Conclusion: A GREAT restaurant. Food and service were great, and they obviously want to make their customers happy. I will be returning to Wok In, Wok Out very soon for that awesome Szechuan Beef and some of the other tasty items on their menu. Great job, Wok...

I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Wok in Wok Out, and it was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm, friendly service that made me feel right at home. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting.

Now, let’s talk about the food—Every dish is bursting with bold, authentic flavors that showcase incredible attention to detail and fresh ingredients. I tried the crab cheese puffs, the spring rolls, walnut chicken, two mushroom stir fry, and the chow mein. Each bite was pure bliss. The balance of spices, the texture of the noodles, and the vibrant freshness of the vegetables were nothing short of perfection.

The portions are generous, and the prices are incredibly reasonable considering the quality and care that go into every dish. It’s clear the team here takes immense pride in what they do, and it shows in every aspect of the experience.

Service was good/outstanding experience but the process to order could be better especially for to go ordering. The front desk had very good customer demeanor but the food/drinks is seriously lacking. First off, ordered a strawberry boba; the drink was full of ice (and I really do mean literally full of ice) to the point where taking 2 sips of the drink took the drink down to half way, disappointing! Especially when I know how low cost that drink is to make it, i personally know the ingredients and it taste exactly like that, super cheap. Then the food I ordered... the crab rangoon was not crab rangoon; it was literally cream cheese rangoon because the crab pieces was almost unnoticeable, barely visible. And the cost for this item was high too! Then the pad thai; it was an okay portion, not large at all by any means, probably on the very small portion side by asian standards especially considering how cheap rice noodles are... but it does not taste like most traditional pad thai dishes, although it wasn't too bad as well. Overall, very very poor first impression, and will not...

Delicious! Next time I’ll take pics I promise! I got the sweet n sour chicken lunch special with egg roll, hot n sour soup and chow-main. Super good! The chicken was drizzled in the sweet n sour sauce giving you the diner an opportunity to just accent the chicken with it or get all up in the sauce like a savage. Of course I did both. The chicken was tender and fresh, breading was on point and not greasy at all. The sauce was great. The chow-main was nicely flavored with just enough garlic to not over power the dish. Wish the lunch special came with more than one egg roll, next time I’ll order a separate appetizer. The veggies inside were not soggy at all and its was crunchy perfection! No time under a hot lamp for this plate. Also got some jasmine tea, I was pleasantly surprised that it was hot and properly steeped allowing me to have a cup right away instead of having to wait. Great place, nice atmosphere, super friendly service. We will definitely be back to try more off the menu. Extra bonus it’s right in old town Eureka, you can walk off your meal shopping at all the great shops!

Would give it a 4.5 if possible. Ordered: orange chicken, crab cheese puffs, egg rolls, and a can of Coke. The negative, Not really a lot to write here. If I'm being picky, the shop interior is bland. Not much effort into creating an ambiance. The soda was room temperature warm. The chicken was the tiniest bit tough. Now the good part, The crab cheese puffs were spot on, as also were the egg rolls. The orange chicken sauce was fresh and lively. Seemed homemade with fine bits of orange throughout. As previously mentioned, although the chicken was a bit tough ( a minute too long in the fryer?) The batter was perfect. It's good to note that the chicken was white meat with no fat, knuckles, or other such off-putting non meat textures. Also, the oil was fresh, which lent to great coloring on the exterior of the eats. There was no oil saturation into the product, and none of that tired oil taste. The price point is perfect. Got plenty of food, and the quality ranged from good enough to perfect. Will recommend to others and most certainly will be returning.
