What a fantastic shop. We spent a couple hours browsing and I must've spent almost a hundred dollars since they had a complete collection of a series I loved in my childhood. There was a fantastic reading challenge sheet at the checkout which I'm excited to take part in. Locals are so lucky to have this place around.

They have robust collections in most genres. I think that the art section is a little too geared towards huge, hefty coffee table books about individual artists and movements and would benefit from some more small paperbacks on anatomy and instruction in general. I had a great time though and would love to come back if I could....

This is the best bookstore I've ever been to. They collect books of all types, and stock the occasional new release. Because they're more of a book collector, this is the place you'd want to go if you're looking for something that you may never have read before. I've found books of all kinds of topics, ranging from medical advice to operating an illegal bookstore, to an overview of religions throughout time.

The only complaint goes with any store of this type, and it's that if a book you are thinking about getting isn't picked up right away, it may not be available when you get back. But I'm sure they could special order a copy of anything...

So yesterday I checked the place out since it had been so long since I visited. There were two employees there who were helpful and yet one of them kept ranting on and on about politics. The guy got more and more adamant with his political views to the point that he began to put down a political party. It got to the point that I felt very uncomfortable and decided to leave. That being said, customers come to the store to find a good book to read or to browse not to hear political debates.. just...
