Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Eustis

Horrible staff and service. We placed an order for Curbside Delivery at the Mt. Dora Chili's and it was supposed to be ready for pickup at 8:20 pm. During the process we were asked to provide the Make/Model/Color of our vehicle since the staff would have to identify it. When we arrived around 7:45 pm all of the curbside pickup spaces next to the building were full. Since I have a handicap permit I parked in a handicap spot and let the Chili's staff know this. Please note that we were parked directly in front of the door the Chili's Servers exited when they were making their Curbside Deliveries and adjacent to the Curbside pickup spaces. You couldn't miss us.

By 8:40 we still haven't received our order so we went to the door where the Servers were coming out of and asked one of the male Servers when we would be getting our order since it was 20 minutes overdue. The Server asked where we were parked and we pointed to the large white truck directly in front of him. He said in a rather rude tone that the reason we didn't get our order was because we weren't parked in the correct location. When we tried to explain that they were full when we arrived, and still full as we were speaking to him, he turned and walked back into the building. We returned to our vehicle and sat there amazed while we watched him served two more vehicles and not us.

We walked back up to door and asked to speak to a Manager who basically said the same thing as the Server..... Unbelievable! At that point we had enough and asked for a refund and were told we would see it on our credit card in 3-5 days. I have never seen such horrible service at a restaurant in my life. I usually write positive reviews but I simply can't this time. We will not be returning to the Mount Dora Chili's...

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Unacceptable Service & Quality

I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience at Chili's after the terrible service and food quality we encountered. My family and I visited recently, and it was the worst dining experience we’ve ever had at this location.

After placing our order for a soup, chili, and some crispers, we were left waiting for over 30 minutes without any explanation. What made this even worse was the fact that our waitress did not check in with us once during that entire time. There were no drink refills, no updates on our order, nothing. Keep in mind, this wasn’t during a rush—two larger parties seated much later than us were served well before we even got a word from our waitress, which made us suspect that our order may not have even been put in.

Eventually, our food arrived, but unfortunately, it was far from acceptable. For a place called Chili’s, the chili itself had an unpleasant burnt taste. To make matters worse, my father found food caked onto his fork when he went to use it, which was completely unacceptable. When we brought our concerns to the waitress, she barely acknowledged us. Shortly after, a manager arrived and wrongly claimed that we had specifically asked for him—we had not meaning the waitress had lied. Despite our complaints, no effort was made to remedy the situation; nothing was comped, discounted, or even offered as an apology for the poor experience.

I truly hope the management takes this feedback seriously, as it was not just an isolated issue but a clear lack of attention to both food preparation and...

We haven't been to chili's in years, so I had high expectations for this trip.

Overall, Customer service: excellent. Food? It looked good but unfortunately for the taste I'd give 2 out of 5. 😵

We had the Anchor salmon with rice and broccoli and added black beans. We also ordered chips and salsa. Everything on the food was too salty 😔, you can barely taste any distinctive flavor, just salt. I understand things been well seasoned (I am from the Caribbean) but there's obviously a difference between well seasoned and too salty.

The thick portion of the salmon (the center) needed a little bit more time on the heat, in my opinion, because it was a bit slimy, so I left that portion on the plate.

I ended up ordering a mini lava cake to get the salty flavor off my mouth. The mini cake had good flavor and texture, but it wasn't really a molten lava cake, it was more like a regular chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and chocolate and caramel sauce on top, but at least I enjoyed this!

It might be that today the food wasn't great. I understand what that is since I am professional cook/baker, and I've worked in a kitchen before; so I am not trying to be a difficult customer, just giving my honest opinion because there's always room for improvement in everything we do.

Regardless of our experience today, we'd give the place another chance, specially because Tina was super friendly...
