Uncorked — Restaurant in Eustis

We went to Wine Cellers in Eustis tonight. We were a party of 6. 1st couple got thier food about 20 minutes after puting in food order only to find out it was not part of our order. 2nd couple recieved thier order about 15 minutes later. My wife got her food about 10 minutes later and I was told mine would be right out. Well almost a 1/2 later my sandwich can after I had ask what is taking so long. We asked to speak with the management. They said they were to busy to come talk to us. How could you be run a business this way on a Friday night and the lighting of the Christmas lights. Was this the 1st year of the light? I think nor. The table of four next to us was having the same problem with the food not coming out together. We were really looking forward to coming here. The atmosphere is awesome. We loved it right away. The wines are good. I had the prosecco which I enjoyed. We had the cheese plate for appetizer. It was excellent. We had 5 in our party. We all ordered dinner. Two of us ordered the chicken wrap. It came well ahead of the rest of our food. They said it tasted good. Two of us ordered the sausage soup and bread. We asked the server if the soup was spicy. He said no, but we both thought it was spicy. The bread was so delicious. Also the oil/vinegar dipping sauce was really good. It seemed our server was new and/or learning. He tried, but forgot a lot or didn't take initiative with getting silverware, plates, napkins. Our night started off with reservations at 6:00 very timely with the drink order for a half busy night. Our appetizers came out in a decent time, from here on our night went to hell. After we ordered and two rounds of drinks later, we finally got food …four out of five of our meals at 7:45. Four sandwiches and a nan bread pizza. Our waitress tonight was outstanding doing all, she could do to make us happy. It’s not a good sign when the waitress is afraid to go ask the “chef” where our meals are.
