I had the worst experience at this location. I walked in wanting an Icee the cashier informed me that the Icee machine was down and if she could get me something else. I only went there for the I see so I was going to leave instead I said sure may I have a smoothie but can I have it for the same price as the icy?...... My mistake to ask for them to honor the price!! I worked at a Taco Time for 10 years I know that while open during business hours all machines should be up and running properly.... This became a horrifying experience when the cashier said no I calmly asked to speak with the person in charge, to see what she had to say. While waiting for the manager to ask my question to a customer came in and she was a little short-changed for her meal I told her that I would cover her price difference. It's now been about 8 minutes from the time I walked in the building. I asked the cashier if I should sit down and wait and not she said it was fine that she would the manager would be out in a moment. I noticed the guy the window was super busy working his butt off he's doing a good job I smiled at the rail people making the food, another employee came up to me and asked if I had been helped I said yes. A police officer came in.
Now the lady who was short-changed was finishing up her order.
I noticed an employee coming from the back she went directly to the policeman and I overheard her say something about asking "her to leave" that's when my interest was piqued in the conversation and I asked if she was talking about me because that was the first time I'd ever heard anybody asked me to leave all I wanted was to ask if you would honor the price of the Icee....
I go to hand my $20 bill to the customer who was shortchanged and the manager lady freaked out on me telling me not to give that customer any of my money and it was no good here I was so embarrassed and appalled by this young managers Behavior and total lack of respect for her customers. I said "whoa lady this has nothing to do with you, I told this young I told this woman that I would cover her meal". Now the policeman asked me to step outside with him, I do.. unfortunately I was not even able to help out the customer who was short-changed for her meal. The manager lady then pokes her head out the door telling me I'm not allowed back on the property and I get a no trespassing ticket from the officer.
Baffled. I felt like a criminal for asking a simple question.
She is in a customer service job and if she didn't want to deal with customers and has to call the police every time somebody has a question, then she needs a new career.
I will never recommend this Burger King to anyone. EVER. Not unless they wanted a free trip to jail for asking for a Whopper...
Read moreMy wife and I went through the drive through and waited a while after placing our order. When we arrived at the window, we paid and then were told to drive around to the front. No explanation. We waited for about 15 minutes in front of the building before I went inside. I waited in line for another 5 minutes where I witnessed one of the young women behind the counter yelling at the manager, who was taking walk-in orders. She told him to do his job a couple times. Part of the dispute seemed to be about who was responsible to go out to our vehicle to tell us they weren't able to fulfill part of our order. She finally stormed out to talk to my wife, who was sitting in the car. Around the same time, the manager asked if I was the one waiting for food out front. He said they weren't able to give us the chicken fries we order because "they dropped the ball and weren't able to get to them from the freezer." He offered to give us a 20pc chicken nugget instead, which I accepted. He asked what sauce I would like and I told him BBQ. He threw in some free fries and gave me the order. When I got back to the car and looked through the bag, I noticed one of our sandwiches was missing. I went back in and he had the rude young women check with me to see what was missing. She retrieved the missing sandwich and we went on our way. When we were on the road, I noticed I was not given any sauce for our nuggets. Probably the worst fast food experience of my life. She had only told me to pull to 2nd window when I ordered. I told her, you did not tell me my total. she looked and told me, took my card, and closed the window. she swiped the card, and walked over to the line and talked to her coworker, checked her phone. could not see my credit card. she either walked away with it or left it sitting unattended. I don't know what she did with her phone while my credit card was in her custody!!! she handed me my order, then reached grabbed the receipt and my card was with it leaving me to believe my card was in her hand the whole time? I attempted to connect with survey online, it rejected all attempts. I tried to use the contact bot, but I don't know the zip code here required to communicate with that. For all I know, she is the person in charge, so calling is not really an option. So, Shitty service, shady behavior with bank card, impossible to communicate concerns one...
