Has potential in food, lacking in staff and cadence. Waited up front for 5 minutes before a staff member said we had to sign up on a digital waitlist. There were 6 open tables for 4. Staff makes you feel like your presence is an inconvenience, they need training in restaurant basics. Menu is not offered at seating and no explanation that you should scan a qr code or if you'd prefer we will bring you a menu. The app was glitchy and sone items had pictures others did not, not an immediate user friendly first impression. No "get you something started to drink." Someone finally stopped by and took our order after about 20 minutes of sitting. Food came out in stages, no conversation from staff, how is it?, you need anything?, no upsell or recommendations. At 3 different times there were 4 or more open 4 tops, with an equal number of group waiting to be seated. Staff needs some help. Also no waiting area. Multiple times large groups gathered and waited at or in the door leaving it open and drafty. Needs a bench by the window. Foods over priced for the Quality. $17 Ramen with braised beef, beef was over cooked, tender but no flavor. Noodles were no better than instant. Though the food was good not bad but not anything to run back to..The way you have to sign in and order is all On-Line and QR Codes Wich I don't like when it's the only option.. My particular phone doesn't seem to read QR code so, I was lucky to be with friends who where able to help bring up the menu .. While the Staff was overly busy it was a bit chaotic and I'm hoping they will find their grove soon.. In my honest opinion I won't be hurrying back but I will give it another chance.. There was a bit of a hard time with getting help to figure out the check in progress once they sent me a txt that said I was next I waited for the waitress who seated the last people by calling their name to come to me. Only 2 minutes had gone by and I received another txt stating " my table seating has been cancelled. I should have showed up to the restaurant on time" . It seemed rude and when I went to ask questions since I waited inside and didn't see how I could have been Not on Time..No body seemed to try to help me until a young man came from the back kitchen and made sure I was still in the Q to be seated and not already dismissed..If I had not been with friends I definitely would...
Read moreWe waited 40 min on the waitlist machine only for them to tell us it doesn't work and you have to wait outside, first come first serve… then EVERYTHING WAS OVERPRICED. Yes they are bugger portions but no reason for everything being $14-$17, even for the soups.
As for the soups, we ordered 3 of the spicy beef soups and one tan tan for the 4 of us and they brought one soup out 20 min after sitting down, then they started taking them to other tables, 15 min later the tan tan came out and we saw the spicy soup go to tables that came after us, 15 min later, another spicy soup came out and then we complained and got our last soup in 10 min after that.
