In response to your comment with MH initials. Almost not even true. Itâs all lie. Itâs this how you live to make a comment and get paid for bad reviews? You are blaming it to the owner or to our crews when we make it clear that Filipino cuisine are cooking from scratch.it takes a while Remember when food are being rush, itâs loses its quality. We are first come first serve basis however in order for our customer to not long wait, we serve them the appetizer right away. We know that we cannot please everybody and you are only one percent of the total 100 percent. You can say that âforget this place â but still a lot of people will remember this place. I have read all the reviews and you always put one star reviews to all the businesses youâve been weâre no good to you. If you think that our lumpia is not good then why did you finish all the lumpia including the free one we gave you. Always put yourself into our shoes before making any comment. If you are the one cooking and you did your best to deliver the good service and I will make a comment that is full of lie donât you feel mad as well. We are struggling to put this business and you are making a comment that is not even true. The owner is a single parent who want to making a decent living. Donât tell me this is how you treat all business owner especially Asian business owner for you to make a bad wish. And for you to make a comment about the manager or owner who just took her break because she was very tired that day, you donât have the right to say that, you have no idea how these people are working hard just to serve you. I think you make this as an excuse finding all mistakes so you can have a freebie. Free...
Read moreI haven't had much Filipino food other than lumpia, so we decided to try Gracie's. We both ordered different kinds of Sisig, which has rice, eggs and meat of your choice. The food was OK, but I wouldn't order that dish again. They only had vegetables as garnish, so it was pretty heavy and my lechon was dry. If we try Filipino food again, I'll look more closely at the dish to make sure vegetables are an actual ingredient and not just a garnish. This can be a problem for me with Hawaiian food too.
I hate to say this, but I probably won't go back to Gracie's because the service was really bad! There was a young guy working the front of house that was giving off very much "my mom is making me do this" vibes. Not just like he didn't care, but like he was angry to be there. Honestly, the whole restaurant was quiet and subdued because of this, I think. I get that staffing is difficult right now, but restaurant serving is not the job for this kid. At one point some ladies came out from the kitchen to serve food and I really wished they were the ones running the front because they were friendlier and cared more. The restaurant didn't seem very clean either, the floor was greasy and whenever the kid had free time he would just hide behind the counter. There were big jugs of sauces like soy sauce and vinegar, but they didn't look super clean and they were almost empty.
Sorry to share such a bad review, but I want it to be honest along with the...
Read moreSo was looking for some good lumpia nd was about to try this place until I read the comments. It wasn't all the 1â reviews which there were alot of, but the comment left in the comment section by the owner! They did not respond how they should of, directly to the commenter but instead left a comment nd stated it was to MH or whomever the initials belonged to be that they were a liar. REALLY Gracies, that's how you approach a paid customers personal opinion?! I wouldn't spend a dime in this establishment just based on how they reply to their customers, it's disgusting, unprofessional and so very tacky to talk this way to someone who paid for your service. Instead you should of bettered yourself with the knowledge you recieved but instead you went on the attack which you'll figure out was the wrong move! From reading the owners choppy, muddled response it is very clear English isn't their 1st language which makes me think they obviously do not understand how things and ppl operate here in the U.S. Maybe talking to ppl like that is ok in the Philippines, but you'll learn quickly we DO NOT put up with behavior and all she'll do is continue to lose customers until it's time to close down and go back to the Philippines or get introduced to the welfare system! DO...
