We stopped by Alidas Bakery and saw this place on our way out of the parking lot. As a big fan of Bahn Mi and Milk Teas, we had to give this place a visit.
We ordered 2 grilled pork Bahn Mi, 1 Creme Brulee Matcha and 1 Coconut Milk Tea with tapioca boba topping.
The drinks were ready first. They tasted good, but half of the cup was filled with ice cubes and gives the illusion you're getting a lot.
Next, the Bahn Mi... took a bite. And another bite. Not impressed. Disappointed actually. The meat tasted bland. Is this how Bahn Mi tastes in Paris? In comparison, these other places know how to season their meat: Hello Bahn Mi (kirkland), Bahn Mi Land (Lynnwood), Bahn Mi Pho U! (Bothell), and Rise & Shine Bakery (Edmonds).
There wasn't that special Bahn Mi sauce you'd expect. On the counter they have additional condiments. Ketchup, mustard, and Sriracha.
There's plenty of seating. More than a typical Pho restaurant would have, but there's no music. What kind of "vibe" are they going for here?
There's also 2 accessible restrooms for those that care. The decorations and interior design looks nice.
Overall, the prices didn't match the quality of the food and I'm...
Read moreI had a very disappointing experience caused by poor management and lack of customer service. I ordered through the self-service kiosk and waited for about 30 minutes, but no food came out. When I checked with the front counter, they said they had no record of my order and called the manager. I was told that, according to company policy, they could not make the order without seeing a receipt.
However, the kiosk does not print receipts. I explained that my credit card payment had gone through successfully, but they kept repeating the same line about company policy. If the policy requires a printed receipt, then the kiosk should be equipped to provide one. It makes no sense to hold customers responsible for something beyond their control.
After about 45 minutes of confusion and argument, they finally offered to make the food—but by then, the experience had been completely ruined, and we decided to leave.
This situation reflects serious management issues and a lack of proper customer service training. A simple system check or a common-sense approach would have solved the problem...
Read moreI'd tried ordering food from Paris Banh Mi on several occasions. I had gone to pick up my order a couple of times. And had my order delivered as well. I would say that when ordering from Delivery Apps, there were fewer selections than getting into the store and placing the order at the counter. There are additional selections offered in-store that were not on the delivery menu. I'd mostly tried sandwiches. But I did try "Vermicelli with grilled pork and egg roll", fresh rolls, egg rolls, egg tarts, and "Pork pie" To me, the sandwiches seemed to be convenient options. The prices are reasonable. I also got promotion discounts that made the price even more affordable. So far, there are no items that I tried and disliked. I found the grilled pork (either on a sandwich or in vermicelli dish) a bit too dry. But that's because it's not fatty. Overall, I'm happy to see Vietnamese store in Bothell so I don't have to drive all the way to Seattle to...
