Medium size joint right next to major league pizza. Japanese style atmosphere w sake bottles adorning one wall & Asian pictures the other w Korean staff working lol. Our server was very polite & attentive to our questions. We ended up ordering the Washington roll which my son was kinda let down by for some kid reason, Spicy salmon roll which had the spicy mayo sauce mixed in the salmon instead of on top which was delightful & different, California roll for my son which he devoured in no time, Mango salmon roll that was a unique twist w a seared finish to the rice, yeah I said rice lol, & finally the Kiss of fire roll which wasn't really spicy, but with the right amount of wasabi...lived up to it's name. All in all, the ingredients were cut to perfect size in all rolls, portions of the sushi rolls were very adequate for each dish, the flavor & texture combo were on point with every bite. One more thing...they serve real wasabi not that Americanized weak kind, key of a good sushi joint. Bon appetit!

This place is normally really great, but we had a not great experience tonight. First, we always place a large To Go order and it usually costs us around $250 including the tip. We placed a smaller order tonight (by about 4 rolls) and it cost over $300 so they definitely raised their prices since we last ordered in January. Second, there was a long black hair in the box with our Kai rolls, rendering 3 entire rolls inedible. Third, the wasabi tonight was a really weird and unnatural blue/green color - so off putting. And fourth, the Kai rolls also had pink dye on the rice and we have no idea what it was from. Did they dye the tuna? What the heck would the pink dye be from? Again, we have ordered the same order from this place many times and have always previously had a great experience, which is why we kept going back. This was a bad experience and I’m not sure we’ll go back after this. They NEVER answer their phones on weekends so I can’t even call to complain, and they’re not open again until Tuesday. Also, my husband ordered at about 4:30 and they told him it would be 45min to an hour, but it was actually 1.5hrs before it was ready. To wait that long, pay as much as we did, and get less than great food, it was not worth it tonight. Go at your own risk.

I really love sushi, but really wasn’t a fan of anything we ordered from here. I ordered 3 rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and miso soup. This was a delivery order - we were not provided chopsticks and our hot soup was put on top of all the sushi. The soup was good, but the fish had a fishy taste, which had me questioning the freshness and was hard to look past. For this reason, we ate very little of what ended up being an expensive order. I think I would be less inclined to review this if the price had been more reasonable. In my opinion, this isn’t was a $20 roll and $29 sashimi/nigiri should be. We did a delivery order, so it’s possible we would have had a better experience in store. But based on this experience, I would hesitate to order from them again.

Amazing place I wish I had known about sooner! Cute and classy establishment that's clean and has good spacing for covid. Double check hours, changed for pandemic. Friendly staff and quick to receive order! (Granted, I went in during their slow hours and was the only customer) Ordered the calamari, Washington roll, and boss roll. Calamari tasted clean and fresh, but the spicy mayo was what really blew it out of the water. Best spicy mayo I've had. Both specialty rolls were great quality. Boss roll was one of the recommendations from the waitress and did not disappoint! Was better than the WA roll, which is usually a favorite of mine at other places. Good job, Kai!

Good find! I love that they have a cucumber (no rice) roll, rare find. The Baja roll was so refreshing with almost a slight lemon flavor. The Black Dragon was not over sauced which is common with unagi (eel), instead you could actually taste the fish, which was nice! Had a Sapporo and a hot saki which wasn't that smooth for a house but I won't be picky during these unusual times. The service was efficient, I mentioned I had never been there before and they gave me my space but didn't offer any insights. Decent prices too. I'll be visiting again, but would love more hamachi choices please.

Delicious food - Crispy Alaska and Washington Sushi, Vegetable Gyoza, Shrimp and Vegetable tempura, and Sunomono salad. (Definitely recommend Crispy Alaska sushi and Sunomono salad - which I don't see in my local restaurants). The food and service were outstanding. This is a small locally owned restaurant. There was plenty of free street parking. Just two of us for lunch. We tried a variety of dishes. Quick service, delicious food.
