Before I write my full review, I want to make it clear that my comments are not related to the food/drinks, or ambiance.

The Colby Club is a cherished spot of mine, truly a hidden gem. My visits here are always wonderful, marked by great food and drinks, and the staff is generally outstanding.

It's a place I frequently enjoy visiting with friends and family. On this occasion, I was there on a first date with someone new. As always, the food and drinks were great, and my date took care of paying. However, as we were leaving our server followed us outside to confront us about the tip she considered insufficient, which I found quite awkward.

I feel it's important to mention again that this was a first date, and the person was someone I had just met. I am truly sorry about the unsatisfactory tip. Personally, I am a firm believer in tipping generously, 15-20% or more, regardless if it’s a restaurant, bar, coffee stand, etc. But since this was a first date with a person I was unfamiliar with, I didn't see the bill or the tip amount.

While I apologize for the inadequate tip left by my date, I strongly believe it was inappropriate for the server to confront us about it in such a manner. Not sure if I will be coming back, which is unfortunate since this was a go to...

First thing: I spent 50-100 because I ordered multiple drinks and food. I’d take photos but I destroyed the food and killed the drinks.

My primary gripe about life in Everett has been complete lack of an upscale place to drink without having pop music blasted in my ears, with flying pig being on the higher end out here. The place is quiet enough to where you can have a conversation or work. But loud enough to where you don’t have to worry about anyone successfully eavesdropping.

The music is tasteful. The chairs are comfortable enough. My only complaint is that the food is fantastic, so I wish the menu were a bit more expansive. Which isn’t a complaint as much as it is me wondering what else they can perfectly deliver.

I’d been mostly underwhelmed by bars in and around the greater Seattle area… to the point I’d begun mixing drinks at home. This...

This is a little hidden gem on Colby Ave. Only been open for several months now. We came here after our dinner for dessert and drinks. Mattie our server was friendly and attentive.

What we ordered: 1.) Pretzel and cheese dip $9.00 The pretzel was not heavy like most places it was on the light side and boded well with the cheese dip. 2.) Brownie $10.00 The brownie was slightly crisp on the outside and warm and moist on the inside. Yummy 3.) Woodford Reserve neat $12.00 what can I say always a safe choice for Bourbon 🥃 4.) “Revival” Martini our friend said it was good. 5.) Virgin Hot Cocoa $3.00 I like it 6.) Aviation Cocktail $14.00 my friend liked it 7.) Widow Jane Apple neat $13.00 my hubby said once was enough.

Pro: A great place on Colby Ave. To grab a well-crafted cocktail & thoughtfully created drinks with their years and cities of origins in a speakeasy feel space || Cons: The food is a little lackluster - the meatballs were good but the entrees are pretty basic / Beechers items you can get at QFC 😅 ; loud space ; very short tables that can be tough to get your knees under Definitely come for the drinks and Parisian cafe size and feel - maybe a good pre or post dinner stop but you might not fill up on or be blown away by the food. Stars are definitely for the drinks and the kind staff

I've been here 3 times, and the food is off the charts! They have Beechers Mac and cheese!!! Take time with the cocktail list. It's a lot, but it explains the amazing craftsmanship that goes into their cocktails. I don't drink, so I'm kinda partial to places that cater to non drinkers, too. They have 12 signature alcohol free cocktails. I've had 5 of them and every one of them were amazing! Super friendly with customers. I brought a group of 8, and they happily accommodated us. I ordered 8 different items from the menu for us to share, and everyone was delicious!
