My husband and I wanted just a basic small cake for our wedding. We didn't want anything tiered or fancy, just something simple that we could do for the cake cutting, as we already had separate cupcakes arranged for the guests. Karl's Bakery went above and beyond on delivering this. I called them and talked to one of the owners, Sheila, 3 days before the wedding to see if they could whip up something simple, and not only were they able to deliver, but they went with our theme which was desert/cactus. When I heard the price, my jaw dropped because it was only $39. Her response was that she didn't want to gouge me just because it was my wedding. Can't recommend this amazing bakery and owners enough. (Incidentally, it was the single most delicious bite of cake both of us have ever had).

Located in Downtown Everett WA on Wetmore Ave right next to the Funko store. I have been wanting to try this bakery for a minute. The Lady behind the counter was friendly and nice. What we ordered: 1.) Regular Brownie $2.99 One of my hubbies favorites. 2.) German Chocolate Brownie $2.99 my hubby says is the best match up of German Chocolate Cake and a Brownie 3.) Raspberry filled Donut $2.99 Let me tell you they Do Not skimp on the raspberry filling like most places. Might I suggested a cold glass of milk or a cup of hot tea to accompany these goodies. Their prices are also fair.

We wanted a cake for a going away party. One of our colleagues is leaving to work with her husband on their family business full time (Parker's Eco-Friendly Pest Control). The ONLY things we asked of Karl's designers is for non-poisoned rats and the tagline. The cake designers performed their magic and delighted all of us. The missing corner being eaten by the top rat is just to die for, and the sprinkles used as droppings... Fantastically imaginative. :) Thanks Karls!! :D

Absolutely terrible customer service. Menu for the cafe does NOT match the menu online. One of the menu items states "Hashbrowns and Pancakes - 2.75" I inquired about how many pancakes it includes. They told me, it is one pancake for 2.75 and it is another 2.75 for hashbrowns. It was also very rudely explained like I was an idiot for misunderstanding. If this is what they intended, it should say "Hashbrowns or Pancakes 2.75."

Also their breakfast meal I was considering included meat and fresh fruit. I asked if I could substitute hashbrowns for the meat because I was in a hashbrown sort of food. The man working behind the counter said and I quote "No, the meat cannot be substituted for hashbrowns, we don't make exceptions for you vegan type people, if you want no meat and want hashbrowns you can pay extra and order the hashbrowns separately. FIRST off I am not vegan and second off, if I was I would be even more offended.

Didn't even stay for the full "experience," made it this far and left.

If you read this review I HIGHLY recommend another restaurant. DO NOT GO HERE. When I went here it was a Saturday morning around 11am and there wasn't a single soul in there. Gee, I wonder...

It is with a sad heart that I have to put a one star on a place that my family has been going to for decades. I write this so that other people can hear how they treat their long time customers and make a decision if that is a place that they want to support with their dollars.

When the mask mandate lifted I wrote ahead of time asking the owner if when I went in due to various health reasons if the person behind the counter would wear a mask for the brief time that they were serving me. I was not asking the store to change any policy, just wanted to know that out of respect for me and my health issues that the person would put on a mask for those couple of minutes. I was told by the owner that they would not, and when I tried to explain my reasons and added that I have supported their business for years I was told "If you don’t like it, don’t come back. We don’t argue with customers about how we run our business." So sadly I won't be back. No matter how you feel about masks, that is such disrespect for a fellow human being and especially for a long...
