My wife and I were staying at the casino and she made reservations at Mystique. The atmosphere was really nice inside. My wife has been to this restaurant previously and was dying to share it with me. We opted to try their Unlimited menu so that we could try a variety of their dishes. The first dishes were okay, I picked the Peking dumplings and she the lo mein. The dumplings were cooked perfectly, but the lo mein lacked any flavor or seasoning. The sushi that we ordered was falling apart and my wife did not receive the salmon that she ordered. It was still tasty so we pressed on. The next dishes we received were their Tik Tok chicken and chicken wings. This is where things began to go down hill. The tik tok chicken was a decent sized portion and tasty, but the wings were disgusting, soggy and lacking any flavor. I decided to switch it up and get the steak next, but after half an hour wait my steak failed to arrive. When we were finally able to ask the waitress she informed us that someone else had also ordered the same thing at the table next to us and that they were still waiting as well. She also informed us that the grill used for that item was very small and couldn’t cook more than one at a time. This was pretty odd sounding, but we decided to get some additional sushi while we waited. After another 10 minutes we saw a waiter approaching our table with the steak, but he walked past us to another table that had sat down after I had placed my order to drop it off. Finally the sushi came out, but just like the first rolls, these also fell apart and were disappointing to eat.
Reading through the other reviews, and seeing the high rating this place has, I am sure that my experience is the exception. A manager came to our table towards the end of the meal to ask how the experience was and ask if the steak ever came out. We told him it had not but that we didn’t want anything else and we’re done. There was no apology from either him or the waitress.
Despite the interesting space and cool atmosphere I would not return to this restaurant or recommend...
Read moreMe and my friends went out for dinner on Saturday Nov 4th around 11. Started like any other dinner, all was well. We ordered our food and I got tuna and a noodle dish. Food runner came over with food that wasn’t ours, so we politely told her no sorry. Our waitress (mid thirties, brown long hair in a ponytail, 5’4ish) came back plate in hand and basically shoved it in my face, saying very aggressively “no this is your order remember? You ordered this!” The tone was extremely condescending, which is funny because I’ve worked in restaurants since I was 14 ,and I am ALWAYS nice to my server. I was taken aback at the aggression ,so I told her no that’s not our food. She took out her notebook, and found our order page where she had written the dish down, and proceeded to double down instead of accepting her mistake. Funny thing is we didn’t order it. She left the table in a huff, and we were a little shocked at the immediate attitude. She came back a couple min later apologizing, which is totally fine. Accidents will always happen, you just have to handle them accordingly. She offered us a vip pass to the show at memoir that night (we already were going, but appreciated the offer). Despite the aggression, I tipped 30% on my bill because at the end of the day I ALWAYS tip my server. She had the audacity to come back asking us why we didn’t tip more! She actually said “why wasn’t it 20%?” If she had done the math she would’ve seen she was wrong, but that is highly inappropriate and super unprofessional. She was really pushy, really confrontational, and not someone I would want as a server again. To top it all off her and a coworker (looked like a server brown curly hair, glasses) were waving our checks around in frustration, making it very obvious it was about us. We were taken aback ,and I almost took back the tip, but we left instead of causing a scene. I go to mystique a lot ,and normally we have a lovely time. I don’t know if she was having a bad night, but the overall experience was v...

We dined at this establishment on Friday, March 29th, 2024, and I can say with absolute certainty that I will never be returning. The food and service from our server, Dyamond, were the only redeeming aspects of an otherwise abysmal experience.
The true travesty occurred at the hands of the host and manager, George. We were a party of ten, but two of our guests were delayed due to a flight issue. When we arrived, we were informed that they could not seat us without the full party, but they would "hold the table" until the late arrivals showed up. However, the host and manager then had the audacity to tell us that we could only take a table for eight, and could not pull up two additional chairs when the other two guests eventually arrived. This occurred around 9 PM, when the restaurant was barely half full and had ample open tables available.
It is utterly baffling that this establishment would choose to lose out on revenue by adhering to such a rigid and nonsensical policy. We were more than willing to spend our money there, but their inflexibility resulted in us not ordering cocktails for over an hour and not leaving as large a tip as we would have otherwise. To add insult to injury, the club-level music they were blasting at 9 PM made it impossible for us to even hear each other speak. Loud music has no place in a restaurant setting without a dance floor.
This establishment has not only lost our business, but has likely lost the business of any future patrons we may have recommended it to. Their shortsighted and customer-hostile policies have ensured that I will be warning everyone I know to steer clear of this establishment at all costs. Dyamond may have provided excellent service, but the management's incompetence has irreparably tarnished my opinion of...
