Starbucks — Restaurant in Fairfield

Hiring ghetto-a$$ mentality clowns that probably would not even get hired at McD's is a sure fire way to ruin your rep as a respected business. I gave this dude ONE ingredient to add. He looks at me 3 seconds later and asks me what the order was again. He looked high. I hope he was, because that would be the ONLY excuse for screwing up such an easy order.

One of the quietest, most relaxing Starbucks around, as long as you sit upstairs. Barista's have been hit or miss here. Sometimes they get orders out fast and corrct. Other times, slow and wrong. I once waited about 10 min for a drink, and it was still wrong, lol. This location is pretty busy, and could probably benefit from having an extra employee or two, to post up at espresso machine all day.

Update 3/719. This location is suffering the same fate as others in the area. LAZY/unmotivated worker creep. Dunno about you, but I have noticed a major decline in the quality of workers Starbucks is hiring in the last few years. At least here in the North East. Makes no sense to put so much effort into consistency/perfection of drinks, and zero time in properly vetting new employees. Consistently dirty upstairs, and the drinks are taking longer and longer to prepare. Corporate needs to take over this location, and fire whoever is doing the...

The staff here is amazing! When I pull into the parking lot and walk into the door they already have my PTL drink ready to go! They are always asking about my family and little things we have spoken about in passing. They know I collect the Starbucks travel cups coffee mugs and such Starbucks swag, when something new comes into the store they place one aside so that I can purchase it with my PTL! The Fairfield Starbucks is amazing. Not to be confused of course with the one in the Fairfiled University Book store Starbucks which is not as friendly and up beat. The Post Road and corner of mill plain along the train station is the one I am speaking of. Each women in that store deserves a extra something. Thank you for all the amazing service and for making me feel like I am at home amount family when I come in everyday you guys rock!! And my drink is exactly the same everyday without fail! Perfect!!! The boy behind the counter who just now in an EMPTY store made eye contact with me then COMPLETELY ignored me, didn't acknowledge me AT ALL, and acted like my request for a spoon was just an optional question to answer at his leisure... I am SO sorry you haven't yet mastered the ability to greet customers or assist them, but whenever a person walks in greet them, ask them how you can help and then if they ask for something, get it for them the formula for good service is VERY simple..... I've worked in service for the last decade and I've never had such absolutely abysmal service in an EMPTY place.
